I understand that and he’s made more than one good play, the gif was just one of them. He hasn’t been all bad.

    Disaster is hyperbole by SteelerDepot.

I think he’ll be great but he’s what, three games into an NFL career and a position he’s played just recently? Man he’s a beast and fast when he’s on though. Once he’s on you, forget about it!

On the plus side, and the only plus in this game. At least the linemen practically ran over each other to pick their QB up off the ground. :applaud:

Still early in the season and a lot of football to play, so we'll see. I think we all hope to see improvement but realistically, the run game has been nonexistent for several years and you don't just say we're going to run the ball and it just magically happens.

Steelers solidly in last place as the worst running team in the NFL at 53 yds/game. F#$%ing pathetic is the only way to describe this sh!tshow.

PFF has him at a 55. 0-59 in their system is defined as "Replaceable".

He's also getting a lot of hands in his face and neck area when he's been driven back with no calls.

Green is not the problem. We had some very good/respectable drives that ate up a lot clock, very happy to see, these are good signs, not bad signs, I wld be concerned if we did not have those long drives and went three and out all game but we did not, and that is a fact, the season is not over, this offense has shown signs, that Bengals game came down to that quick miracle TD throw right before halftime and too many offensive penalties and dropped passes, Tomlin and Ben don't shoulder the blame like many people think, sure, Ben cld be better but he did throw for over 300 yrds w multiple drops and penalties, also Najee had a coupe of good runs that got called back 'cause of penalties as well,

    doomsday cheerleaders are premature

They definitely didn't like the pick. They were spot on about him ending up on the ground too much though. He's got to try to stay on his feet more.

Wasn't a miracle throw. Actually really close to a push-off. IF they're letting that go as hand fighting, then you've got to chop that hand/wrist or thigh when he does that. You do and he doesn't secure that catch.

Nah, this was an off-off-Broadway number, most often performed in an alley behind a PF Chang's in upstate NY.

If it is to be stated that his first half against the Bengals is a reason why Kendrick should get benched, agreed. That first half performance by him was arguably the worst performance of any Offensive Lineman on the team this season...... and that includes Chuks as well. Oof did Larry Ogunjobi and BJ Hill do a number on him.

    Yikes!!

If Harris cuts to the left on that play, he gains more yards. Harris' vision was not good there.

I'm still not sure if this guy should be a center. I know the Steelers had luck converting guys like Hartings and Hartwig to center, granted they were established players but sooner or later that luck is gonna run out.

Might be a Hart only thing.

Dawson was a Guard/Center in college and played Guard his rookie year before taking over for Webster.

Pouncey went from guard to center in college so he had 2 years as center under his belt.

What's weird is some places have him at 6'2" but most have him at 6'4" 315 or so which is not that off of Pouncey who's listed at 6'4" (Seen a few places with 6'3") 305. So I don't know where this small for a center thing is coming from.

After Re-watching the game with a focus on the O line, I think the “disaster” statement can be applied to every single guy. So many times Harris was dropped for a short gain or loss, and on almost every failed run there are at least 1-2 O linemen standing there looking back at the tackle being made by someone who completely schooled them.

I’d like to see how we’d do going full-on ZBS to simplify assignments in run blocking. I think Najee would settle in with that.

I don’t understand the “too small” comment. He’s bigger than Pouncey.
