So far he’s not looking good at all. The whole O line is bad

Cut Eric Ebron today and take the money you still have this week and go bring in Russell Okung,Nick Easton, or Rick Wagner as free agent tackles and guards this week and see what happens. The Steelers have to do something on this offensive line. How much worse could they be then guys like Chuks or Green. Ebron is useless on this team he catch he can’t block. Take that money and go bring in Okung, Wagner, or Easton.

Ben has a relentless motor mouth. Greene will be ok.

Green looks a lot like he did in the preseason. He has good plays and bad plays. The problem is the bad plays are really, really bad.

Green looks green but does stuff like this, too.

    Needs experience, he’ll be fine.

I'm sure the guys at SteelersDepot watch a lot more film than Kaboly.

Cutting Ebron only saves about a million this year because they guaranteed most of his money in a void year extension, might as well hold on to him for depth as much as I don’t rate him either.

They have money to bring in some help but it’s very debatable whether any street free agent will improve things at this stage. It really is a s###show, as many predicted in the offseason. That was the time to address the line, not now. Banner is eligible to come back next week, maybe he adds something, IDK

What does that have to do with the play in question? Fact is, Green does some very good things, he’s 3 game into his pro career.

At the least, leave Ebron on the bench in the redzone. Banner is a glimmer of hope, can't get him back soon enough.

He is a rookie, baptism by fire. He will get better. Hassenauer? Brutal.

And Trai Turner isn't doing $hit! And Chuks is a joke. Hope Banner gets cleared.

BJ Finney can take Turners place right now as far as i'm concerned but they won't.

They won't cut Ebron. But he needs to see the field less for sure and he needs to call up Lester Hayes for some tips.

The problem is the here and now. In no way is he ready to be a starter in the NFL. The same really goes for Moore. He’s better than I expected, but he makes enough really bad mistakes that he should still be grooming to compete for a starting role in 2022 - except that we have nobody better right now to play this season, which is truly sad.

As predicted. I just don't get the approach with the draft over the last 4 years. Pouncey was terrible his last 2 years. The excuse is going to be we thought Ben and Pouncey would retire at the same time. Even then having an experienced center for a young QB would help a lot. I wanted them to draft a center 2 years ago and start developing him instead of whatever this plan is. Then they want to waste all these picks on WRs and RBs. Then they pay a WR over probably a Top 3-5 corner on this team in the last decade. Then use a 1st on a RB.

At least this last draft looks promising. We just wasted the previous 3 years and delayed our rebuild imo.

This season is a wash then. Somewhat promising draft though and hopefully can be competitive again in a couple of years

    Hmm...

Bone Bruises take anywhere from thee weeks to heal if the damage is minimal. If not, weeks to even months more. Again, do not know the severity of Greens but he will be out for a while; JC being up next at bat regardless.

    Getting back on topic and, I repeat for what appears to be the 15 duodecillionith time, repeat after me;

    Growing... wait for it.... pains.

Expecting this Offensive Line to run roughshod this early in the season was completely unreasonable to begin with. That said, Sundays performance is more than concerning for certain.

Finney could also step in at center. Then you bring up Coward to back up the guards? If Banner is ready to go, maybe him and Haeg can be the tackles? I don’t know, something has to change. I’d also give Rudolph the start.

At this point I’m inclined to just write this season off and get the young guys as many reps as possible. The only reason I’d consider taking him out is if they feel his confidence is being hurt by his mistakes, or he’s not learning at all.

Was Kirk Cameron in that? I wouldn't think so, he's pretty religious.

They have a new OL coach, a new OC, and 4 new younger starters I expected to see some improvement over last season.

I was talking about Green's play overall, not that particular play.
