They mentioned it in the Suisham thread.

He's working out there, but not necessarily working our FOR them.

I haven't seen anything that confirms that he was actually working out with the Steelers. He is back in Pittsburgh though, and as usual, never a dull moment in the life of Skippy. From a few days ago: Reed back in Pittsburgh

OK, I feel better now. Glad I don't own Sheetz stock, but wish I had stock in a towel-dispenser company.

Dang, I forgot to add my funny.-

'In unrelated news, convenience store owners across the city are reporting an unexplainable disappearance of paper towels, and paper towel dispensing equipment.'

Until he apologizes to the fans that paid his paychecks for all those years he can stay unemployed as far as I am concerned

I'd take him back if his head is screwed on straight. He was pretty clutch in his time here.

I can see Suisham costing us at some point.

I never had a problem with Reed, but the comments he made before being let go last year don't help his cause.

The biggest problem I would have with him coming back is we STILL wouldn't get the ball into the endzone on kickoffs. That, and Suisham has made a few nice tackles this year on special teams. Reed isn't much of a tackler.

We Steelers fans sure have short memories. Reed became unreliable and the FO made a good call by releasing him. Not to mention his $2M + salary was way too much for what he was contributing. Plus the PR nightmare he turned into. Suisham came in and did a great job last year and won 3 games for us. Sushi isn't doing as good so far this year but he isn't terrible. My vote is to leave Reed in the unemployment line.

Exactly what I was thinking. There was a time when I liked Reed, but I still see those times where he was the last defender on a punt and he didn't even look like he bothered to try to make a tackle to stop the touchdown.
