Is it just me or do we seem to be flying under the radar a bit? It seems like we remain top 6 in the power rankings, but if you listen to national espn radio it seems like everyone is talking about the Vikings, Falcons, Seahawks, and Broncos. They are totally leaving us out of the big picture. The only thing they seem to talk about is AB cleats and so forth. Maybe it is hard for me to listen to much other then SNR on my phone, and I am missing some other breaking news. To be honest I like flying low anyway. Just wondering what you guys are thinking?

I don't think any of those Teams have got smoked like we did ...That game is keeping us out of the conversation it will take a few more weeks of solid play to regain top Team talk...

Eagles game. I can't blame the rankings makers for keeping the Steelers out of the top 5. It's gonna take a major winning streak, 5-6 games, to wipe the stink off from that loss. Beating the Patriots would go a long way to restore the Steelers rep.

We were number 1 in the power rankings until that disaster in philly, we got some respect back by killing the chiefs and jets arguably neither of those teams are considered a playoff contender at the momemt, we have to keep winning to get back to top 5 in the rankings, and we have to beat the fish, and then to get our respect back we must beat the patriots, of course if we lose to miami we wont even make the 10 list in the PRankings....

It doesn't matter really at this point. We're one of the best teams in the league regardless of the power rankings. They like to shake things up with new teams like Atlanta and Minny. I guarantee if we beat the pats we're going to number 1 or 2 (if Minnesota keeps winning)

They aren't. Especially after getting embarrassed once already this season. Doesn't mean they won't lose, but I'd be shocked if they were overlooking this game.

I can look forward to New England tho. I'm just a fan haha

Didn't NE get skunked by the Bills, oh that's right the national sports media are all hanging off of Brady's jock

And why wouldn't they? The Pats do nothing but win so of course they get a ton of attention. We also get a ton of attention though. Every year I read these types of posts on here saying we get no respect. Numerous people have picked us to win the SB (including Pat Kirwan, who I think is one of the most intelligent men out there when it comes to the NFL). We get plenty of attention in the media.

I posted a thread about NOT looking ahead to the Patriots game and not focusing on the Dolphins game FIRST!!!! As far as I'm concerned, as long as we keep winning all of the "so-called" praise talk and rankings will take care of themselves! Personally I like the fact the fact that "nobody" in the various media is giving us praise...that can only be fuel not a negative!! Hope the players and coaches feel the same!!

REALLY HATE TO SAY IT but if Brady was playing in that game against the Bills, the Patriots would've won...no doubt in my mind! It's like us going to play the bills in week 14 at the Bills with Landry Jones at QB! We wouldn't win that game....just saying!!!

never pay attention to the power rankings to be honest. Seems to be just an exercise for most of the sportswriters etc. The only ranking I focus on is our record in the AFC North.

You are right PWP. I have a buddy I was in Vietnam with lives in Philly. He called me today mad, well really to check on me from Hurricane Matthew. He said, I been telling all these Philly fans they suck and told them Pittsburgh will kill them. We didn't deliver. He is mad at me for Stillers loss

I think it was Conor Orr on NFL.com who said we were probably the best team in the league last week.

I don't really see us as under the radar.

In 2003 the Pats lost in Week 1 to the Bills 31-0 and to the Patrick Ramsey led Skins and then did not lose another game. Early season Power Rankings are meaningless.
