Yeah, I think Watt wins it. I agree with Murray over Bell too. Murray could actually break the all time rushing record. That counts for something

I'm guessing the reason is that a WR touches the ball maybe 10 times per game, whereas a RB is usually around 30 times per game.

I wish he could win it but doubt it. Rodgers has had 1 bad game. My guess is Rodgers or Luck would win it, or Manning. Or just let Brady have it again.

No, at best, ben will be a fringe player talked about. Trouble is that in a lot of our games, he's been back to managing the game, using bell, etc. He's not flashy enough to win league MVP this year.

This will be the year of a NON-QB MVP, and based on the ESPN daily love..... it'll be JJ Watt. It really helps the discussion when you can look at Rodgers, Brady, Peyton, etc and say they had a crappy game..... a DT/DE doesn't carry those same stat lines, but he's got the flash of sacks and offensive flexibility.

Yes, but they won't even get in the playoffs. That has got to count for something. Right??

Why would it? It's not like they wait until the Super Bowl is over before voting. I'm sure making the playoffs counts for a skill position player, but a defensive player not so much. The team lost their star WR, RB (for a few games), and several QB's, yet they are still competitive and vying for a playoff spot, albeit as a long shot.

LOL. I hate Manning with a passion but the guy has a 9-2 record against teams with a 500% or better winning record and Rogers has a 3-4 record. Manning wins on the road and Rogers can't and their stats are pretty much even up. Why everyone has a hard on for Rogers is beyond me.

Stats are meaningless without context. Rodgers lost to Detroit, Buffalo and Seattle on the road. Those are 3 of the toughest defences in the league and 2 of those teams made Manning look stupid too. I don't put the New Orleans loss on him. He was picking them apart until he injured his hamstring. The guy couldn't even plant his foot when throwing.

I don't have a hard on for Rodgers, but he is the best QB in the league and is having a better year than Manning. Manning has been playing bad for the last 3 or 4 weeks, which is why Denver is running more than ever and throwing less and less

i do believe that ben will get 5,000, just as i'm sure that each of the big 3 will split votes, and that works against them....
the cowboys offense revolves around murray..... the packers offense starts and ends with Rodgers
watt could easily get it (although i'm not a fan of players from losing teams getting the award)

as someone already stated earlier, i'm not sure if ben is mvp of the team let alone the league

Ben said on radio Bell is team MVP and should be a candidate for NFL MVP. Good leadership Ben! You won't hear the other Qbs say that...

I think if we win the division and he passes Brees in yards which i s very possible you have to put him in the conversation.

Why the hell would we want him to win it? We should want him to earn it ... but not get the recognition. If he wins it, his extension goes up another few million.
