He'd hold onto the ball even longer.

    1. I think the idea that we're "wasting a pretty good defense" is sort of misleading. This year our defense was statistically good, but it isn't the game-changing and dominant force it has been in the past...and that's true of some of the other years as well. Remember our "dominant d" in 2010? The weak link was the secondary...hardly dominant and it cost us a seventh.

    2. The "If Brady had the Steelers' D" question is a tough one. You could put lots of names there. What if Peyton Manning had the Steelers D? To be fair about it, you'd need to insert our O-Line which has been a downright disaster. It's been like that ever since Jerome Bettis left (and that's because Bettis made the O-line look WAY more powerful than it ever was.) But even if we just play the game of "if Brady had the Steeler defense", my guess is some might think Brady would have like 5,7 or more rings or something crazy like that, but I don't think so. As a matter of fact, I think many of the Patriot defenses were very strong...and a good reason Brady won in 2003 and 2004.

Well, it's true that under BA he had to wait approx. 4 hours for each play to develop. It's also true that his holding on to the ball gave us one of the best TDs of the last few seasons (the pump fake spectacular to Heath).

...But it still made me laugh.
