Interesting take on our young cornerbacks

I'm really looking forward to seeing what Lewis, Brown and Allen are going to do this year. They all showed flashes of special ability last year.

I enjoyed the part of the article that talks about how we managed to render Brady inneffective by getting physical with his receivers. I look forward to more of the same.

Of course, the thing that's left unsaid in this article but I think is huge is the fact that Carnell Lake has coached these defensive backs up. I've said it before, but he was a huge upgrade over Ray Horton as the Steelers' DBs coach.

 

Though I also remember the Ravens game, where their WRs and TEs seemed to either be just swatting our DBs off them like flies, or drawing PI penalties. Hopefully we'll have more of the Pats-game play and less of the Rabens-game!

I had the feeling that the Defense was in base most of that game and it was the starting corners/Safeties getting used.
