Interesting listening to Jaworski criticize Cam Cameron

    On PTI, Jaworski made it clear that he blamed Cameron and not Flacco for some of the Ravens' offensive problems. And he's right. Jaworski: "Too many throws are contested, giving Flacco a very small window to throw to. And why are the passes contested? Because they're a bunch of routes where the receive is just trying to beat the defender, low percentage passes. It is Cam Cameron's job to design high percentage passes and plays that bring receivers open."

    Gee, I thought he could have been talking about Arians.

    Ross Tucker said the exact same things about Cam Cameron today on Sirius NFL. He also said unless the Ravens win the Superbowl, he doesn't think Cam Cameron will be welcomed back next year

    Could this all be a chain of events that leads to Cameron being the OC for the Steelers next year?

    Because Cam Cameron is a one trick pony kind of like Arians is. He doesn't run a balanced offence and has no creativity. His WR's run nothing but go routes all the time, which just isn't going to cut it. He just doesn't design the routes properly and his WR's have a very hard time getting open. I'm pretty sure Rooney is aware of all of that.

    I would like Cameron as the OC....he knows how to call a good game.

    Let's be honest his QB is Flacco, his offense isn't going to look pretty out there. He was the OC when the Chargers had big offensive years. Pretty sure they ran out there with LT too....so he doesn't pass all the time.

    The Ravens offense has been scaled back for years because of Flacco, its NOT Cameron fault.

    Let me go on the record right this second as saying I do NOT want Cam Cameron anywhere near this team.

    If he gets hired, I'll immediately make the first FCCI thread. :)

    Agreed. Having Cam the past 5 years would have been much more effective than BA ball with the talent here to work with. Just because rats fans don't like him doesn't mean squat.

    Cameron scares me because of his inexplicable abandonment of Ray Rice at times, who had a COMBINED 36 carries in their 4 losses. That's 9 carries/game for a top 5 RB. In their 22-17 loss to the Seahawks, Rice had 5 carries for 27 yards and Flacco had 52 pass attempts. For those who are using Flacco as an excuse for Cam's questionable results, why would a guy who has a mediocre QB and top RB call such a disparate game in that situation?
