This article shows that the issues filter from the top down. Art II needs to be more engaged with what is going on. Tomlin will be on the same plane as John Harbaugh was with Baltimore. If he makes the playoffs in 2019, he will get his extension. If the team continues to have distractions, Art II will make a change. Once the AB drama is resolved, I would not expect to see the drama that we have seen over the past several years. Is there enough humility in Tomlin, AB, and Ben to forgive each other and move forward? I am hoping yes, but guessing probably not.

It is really disturbing, yet the players stick up for him?

Go figure? Could you imagine working for a company and don't show up
1 day a week? Would you as a co worker go for that?

I think it's just pathetic that it has come to this! The Steelers NEVER had these issues before Tomlin. There is only two key people to blame and that is Art and Tomlon. It all starts at the top. I'm afraid there is no fixing this until a complete overhaul is complete

And that one piece away team could be on our schedule next year. Does that makes sense? Not sure how this clown show ends up but I am not is the mindset of helping anyone if possible, especially if we play them twice a year or at all next year. This team is so screwed up (thanks HC) I am not sure what I'd want to do with him. Hope the big top ring leaders do a good job cleaning up this mess.

I'm sure they will be looking at a NFC teams to ship him too but with the exception of a division rival or NE, they will take the best offer. Have to get the highest return for him, can't let spite govern you.

He definitely has no control over his players. PC Art will never have the guts to right the ship. Never.

Mmm. Starting to think Brown is untradeable to any team that has a no nonsense policy and only to those that will tolerate him for the production he brings. The first day Tomlin allowed Brown special treatment with his light hand approach to discipline, it was all over as far as stopping his diva routine.

Now that Brown is used to special treatment, I think everyone knows he will not change. Brown has his positives. Nobody out works him. He will very likely has a few high levels seasons left in him because of that. He will end up staying and we will tolerate his act for a few more years or he will go to a team with a head coach that is a players coach like Tomlin.

What if the highest return for AB is offered by NE, or the only offer is from NE and it's a great deal for the Steelers...

It would be hilarious to see AB try and pull these stunts under Belicheck. It would happen just once and then he would be fined, benched, suspended and then shipped out.

Never happen, they won’t trade him there and any hypothetical package that would be too great to pass up won’t happen either.

This definitely starts at the top and Tomlin should have nipped this an all of the non functional family problems in the bud.No one on the team should be put on a pedestal because of performance.Ben,Brown, Bell or anyone else. Not a Patriot lover but I do respect them as obviously they’re doing something right.Plenty of players can become divas or feel entitled if the coach or front office lets it happen. This problem is not going away unfortunately as it seems the front office is content with the team just making the playoffs or coming close most years!

We'll see next season when the patriots pull off a triple trade to get him somehow.

Belicheat has Harrison mentoring AB on how to get cut.

Probably right, unless Kraft really wants him. Just because the Steelers won't trade him to NE (allegedly) doesn't mean he won't end up there.:ninja:

Depends on how bad he wants a ring, Facebooking Belicheat would be priceless.
