One of the things that stood out to me most was the "Little AB" comment about Eli Rogers. The way AB acts rubs off on other players and this is a perfect example. If the comment about Tomlin telling teammates, that the team will deal with it for now until production stops, is true, he should be fired immediately.

This whole situation and state of the team is sickening. The Steelers never had these problems in the past so all fingers should point at Tomlin.

Mr Rooney, your circus awaits, sir.

I don't like seeing A.B. blamed for all this," one current Steeler said. "To me, he's not the problem."

To limit distractions, maybe keeping things internal is best for the team," McFadden said. "Quarterback is a leadership position. As a leader, I think you should handle criticisms of players differently. It can cause separation."

One team source believes Brown failed to show up that Saturday to prove a point: See what happens without me drawing those double teams. The Steelers won 16-13 and failed to score on their first four drives. Smith-Schuster finished with five catches for 37 yards and a touchdown.

Teams believed to be one piece away could consider giving up a first-round pick for him.

Personally I think the Steelers have a better chance of receiving an impact player than a first round pick. iMO

Interesting article for sure. There is not much new here. Well there isn't much new that I didn't already suspect. I am not really sure what the Steelers are going to do here, but I do think this. If the Steelers do trade Brown they could end up a better team because of it. If someone gives up a top 10 pick for Brown(I know this is a big if), take that pick and trade down for a package of more picks. Other teams do this sort of thing all the time. If the Steelers play their cards right they could end up with a couple of 1sts, a couple of 2nds, and an earlier 3rd than we are used to. There is also going to be more cap room than the Steelers are used to. If you add a veteran wideout as an insurance policy for James Washington, we will still have a strong receiving corps. With the combination of a couple other key free agent signings and a strong draft class, the Steelers could be looking at an influx of talent on a level that we have never seen before. Losing Brown wold suck, but the Steelers could end up being a deeper better team because of it, if we do it right. That is another big if.

If Rooney was aware of what was going on in the locker room with Tomlin and AB, the issues with the culture around this team run deeper than any of us could ever imagine! If he wasn't aware then Tomlin should be fired within the week. We all wondered why this team was underachieving, now we know .

If Tomlin really told the team that he would tolerate these acts of insubordination, he needs to go!!

I know this is an AB thread, but Tomlin is toast...IF, this article is true...You can't now, all of a sudden run a tough, disciplined lockeroom...Actually it would make it even worse...

No repercussions for anything ha...I always thought Tomlin was a phoney baloney Jackass who was an eloquent talker with cute quotes...His on the field coaching is horrendous, and if this article is true...So is his off the field structure and discipline...Joke!

Somebody please tell me again again why he is a good Coach...Oh, that sterling non losing season bull****...Yeah!

reserve judgement until we start having a bunch of losing seasons. Is he Bellychuck? No! Is he Adam Gase? No! Somewhere in between.

It's past the point they're gonna do anything for this season. The only hope is not only should Tomlin have a short leash,he should be wearing a choker. No extension until after the upcoming season. IMO if they extend him before that they don't give a **** and are accepting mediocrity.

When you treat people differently, it's going to alienate some more than others. It's ridiculous that AB has his own place and doesn't stay on site during camp. So much in that article to unpack, the tardiness that one current teammate says so what, he doesn't get it, AB definitely doesn't get it. Ben absolutely has to stop airing things publicly, it obviously adds fuel to the fire. Tomlin cultivated all this. Worked in the beginning when the locker room was full of veteran leaders but just festered and grew worse over time.

Going to be tough if not impossible for Tomlin to fix this. Better hope this team just wins and wins.
