I don’t need to show Mitch’s stats as a Steeler, he sucks also. We are in a no win situation no matter who we play.

I think it's all about the same chance. I don't see enough difference separating these goofs that warrants playing one over the other. I've kind of checked out on this season sh!tshow and honestly don't give a crap.

    Main reason....
Because I don't give a $hit about a resume not on the team, and on a team that thought so Highly of Him they let a number 2 overall draft pick go. Repeat He sucked so bad they let a number 2 pick in the draft walk.
That's why. What He does Here matters.
Rudolph has only played Here....I'm comparing them both to playing Here.
Example: Do You think what Wilson did in Seattle is making Denver feel any freaking better???? Hell Trubisky was so good they let Him go. Only We were dumb enough to sign Him as a freaking starter.
They can Resign Mason for less then they'll have to pay Trubisky next year.

We are talking about backup quarterbacks here. The Bears realized he wasn't their long-term starter. That doesn't mean he isn't better than Rudolph.

Refusing to consider every part of Trubisky's resume when evaluating him is either stupid, dishonest, or both. Those are the only options.

It's not as if the Steelers signed Trubisky as a long-term starter. He was brought in as a stop-gap, most likely because they realized Rudolph can't even be that.

If the Steelers have any interest in re-signing Rudolph, the best thing they can do is keep him on the bench. He's not going to get much money after starting one game in two years. If he plays and plays well, that only raises his price. This assumes he would even consider staying with the Steelers at this point, which seems very unlikely. I don't understand why you aren't getting that.

So much for the idea of shutting Pickett down. Tomlin said he expects him to start Saturday night. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I was all for sitting him one week past the moment he was cleared just to be safe.

I’m all for him. Playing when he’s cleared to play.

Yep. Logical thing to do would be sit him another game. Maybe Tomlin thinks not starting him when he is cleared will mess with Kenny emotionally, that Kenny would think Tomlin had lost some confidence in him? I think Tomlin is into that kind of reasoning.

Maybe. It also sends the message that he thinks they have no shot at the playoffs, something I'm sure he doesn't want to convey even if he does realize they have no shot.

Witherspoon was at practice, opening his 21 day window…. Not that anyone really cares.

GEEZZZZ....I rather play Lamar. We have done better against Him since He's been their Qb than We have against the different backups.

Agreed but still they have no downfield passing game and Huntley isn’t anywhere near as fast as Lamar taking off

Guy has never played a snap and lead them on two game clinching drives in the 4th. MT and Flores defensive minds shinning through.
