Is Boz playing against Ravens this week or no????

isn’t Chris Boswell on injured reserve?

 

He returned to practice yesterday but still hasn't been released from IR.

 

Sounds like boz will be playing

 

Aside from one bad game, Wright had been fine, but I'm glad to see Boswell back. Wright's bank shots don't inspire confidence and his kickoffs weren't deep enough.

 

Even in the good games per se I think he hit the uprights at least twice

Plus we punted on downs we would have gone for three with Boswell

 

Agreed. I did mention the bank shots. They probably let Boswell try the long field goal rather than punting late against the Falcons, though that punt certainly worked out well.

 

And one would think they know what they are getting when they activated him

 

Reed is inactive, so only 3 OLB’s will be dressed today. Might see Leal take some snaps on the edge.

 

Might see Spillane outside some, too.

 

A lot of DNP’s in there. Seems unlikely Kenny will play with back to back limited practices. Probably best to take the cautious approach with him.

 

You don't want him with a third concussion in a season. Play Mason or Trubinsky. Mason for my preference to see if he returns to his pre injury form.

 

Yeah…. That’s why I suggested taking the cautious approach.

 

Any news on CB William Jackson practicing and being ready to play?

Both Boswell and Jackson were eligible to return December 6th.

 

With Jack out, maybe Robinson will get a helmet and a chance to play? Would be nice to see him get some defensive reps. Not like the ILB bar has been set so high.

I'm pretty sure Pickett is a super strong doubtful. Freaking Trub I imagine Maybe he'll surprise. TBH I wouldn't mind a little delivery from a certain reindeer this Christmas season.

Pretty sure Tomlin will keep Trub in most of the game unless he stinks to high heaven in the first half. How cool would it be if Mason get's in and lights it up.

 

Are you Mason or related to him. Has he EVER lit it up?

 

I think I've had to many beers. Hey, maybe he'll seize the day to show he can take over at the helm. Yep, to many beers.

 

If the playoffs are unattainable, and Pickett cannot play, then why not start Mason? He may throw less than 3 INTs.

 

Why play a guy who is about to become a free agent? It doesn’t help the Steelers at all. It can only work against them.
