I was kidding. He thinks he still deserves big money. He doesn't, and I think the Steelers know this is a lost season.

I'll go with You. I played some safety so.....of course that was in the 80s, but......oh Hell never mind. Go alone.

Speaking of injuries, one of the most painful losses in Pittsburgh sports history happened 30 years ago tonight. Sid Freaking Bream.

Brady might not have to pass that much, I think Leonard Fournette will go over 100 yards with a couple of TD's.

It’s a shame we are hurt so badly especially in the secondary because not only does it hurt our chances to compete but it’s a great excuse for the disaster of a season.

I thought the same thing. Just forfeit so their is no risk of any more injuries either physical or emotional

The secondary is depleted at this point. But even when healthy they are still below the line. And zero pass rush? No help from the front seven. The defense as a whole is just disappointing. Really disappointing. The main strength before the season started. Maybe they need a rewind.

The Hall of Famer Jack Ham was on 93.7 the Fan Pittsburgh yesterday on the Cook and Joe Show and said he couldn't believe that after losing Watt that this defense has crumbled as it has.

The only hope right now is that Kenny Pickett improves this offense into what could be a powerhouse. The negative is Canada.

    Buckle up.

Excuse implies that it isn't really the reason, which simply isn't the case here. This team had other flaws, but they had enough to be 3-2 right now with a healthy defense. That didn't happen.

I got to know him when his daughter and mine became good friends in middle school. Sid told me that if he would have been out then the Braves would have had to play a pitcher in the outfield in the 10th inning because Bobby Cox had used up all the position players.

I haven't seen any report on it. I'm hoping that they didn't immediately put him on IR means it isn't a torn ACL, but this sucks. I admit I didn't like the pick, but the kid has played very well.

Robinson gets a helmet for the first time this season… Along with Loudermilk, of course.

Would like to see Robinson get some snaps on D, but it’ll likely just be special teams action.

Kazee came off of IR before the weekend. No word yet on his 21 day window being started. Have to think he’d practice this week.

    Suspension is also over.

Tomlin said that they expect Pickett, Freiermuth, and Wallace to practice Wednesday. Sounds like he expects Freiermuth and Wallace to be cleared and play Sunday. Pickett is less of a sure thing.

Sounds like there is a chance they get Fitzpatrick, Sutton, and Witherspoon back, too, but they are among a long list of guys who are banged up.

That was all from the part about injuries at the beginning of his press conference. He didn't mention Kazee or Austin at that time, but maybe he was asked about them later.

Fitzpatrick says he will play on Sunday. Hopefully he’s right.
