Bills are a passing teams so they’ll probably be in nickel most of the time anyway but communication and play calling is going to be a huge issue. Williamson is still finding his feet (thank god they signed him btw). We will probably see a good few snaps from Sean Davis here?

D will be fine. Steelers O is going to have several long, time killing, run oriented drives that produce points.

 

Pretty shallow observation imo. Skins giving up 2-3 sacks a game with Smith under center. Alex usually gives 1 to the opposition is the way it's tracking this year. Steelers about 3 sacks a game (yes even against subpar onlines) with hitting the qb about 10 times. Carry on with the trolling Scribe, it amuses the masses.

Trolling is posting something you don’t mean just to stir up trouble. I’m posting a well-supported, accurate argument. You should make sure you understand words before using them in a post.

I was hoping you were trolling. That was giving you the benefit of the doubt. They lost one of the league’s top pass rushers and replaced him with a guy who registered no sacks and no quarterback hits in a loss, yet somehow you don’t realize they missed Dupree.

 

Yeah, I still can’t quite get how some people feel losing bud wouldn’t mean much haha

I'm just trying to figure out if the Steelers will fold without Dupree Scribe. You have stated some facts that are hard to dispute. Dupree was putting up #s at the rolb position, mostly against scrambling qbs in my opinion but still getting the job done.

I concluded that the Steelers defense will survive, hence they won't miss Dupree. Highsmith will have to pick up the pace or I'm wearing the dunce cap. To be determined is where i am at, but it will be hard to gauge him being out now that others are falling like flies. I agree that his veteran status not being on the field is magnified at the moment. Appreciate your contribution & time devoted to my madness.

Not sure how this topic got so much Dupree vs Highsmith talk, but I thought the rookie acquitted himself quite well even though he didn’t get a splash stat. Will we miss Dupree? Of course, but I think Highsmith is up to the challenge and will only get better.

Yeah, i can be biased about the Steelers chances. They haven't let me down as a football fan. My irritation with a Steeler loss was squashed when they lost their 1st SB. It was devastating reality for me.

 

Vince has been placed on the covid-19 list and won't be eligible for buffalo..... Looks like our starters will be williamson and UG3..... Definitely a faster pairing then VW and RS, but will they be disciplined enough
