Exactly. They are now missing the top four inside linebackers from the start of the season. So they've got Allen playing out of position and Williamson, who is still learning the defense. Oy.

The Steelers are going to lose to the Bills. The defense is just too short-handed against an offense that good.

The key is to get things in order in time to play the Bengals Dec. 21. The top seed isn't happening. The goal now has to be to hold on to the AFC North. If the Browns beat the Ravens Dec. 14, that means the Steelers need to beat the Bengals and either the Colts or Browns.

4 weeks left in the regular season and I’m surprised that the NFL hasn’t confirmed the playoffs format. If there is a bubble, as some have suggested, then I’d rather rest our guys now. It’s better to be fully healed for a four game stretch then bust our rears while hobbling on one leg to gain a bye week. Home field advantage means nothing if everyone is clustered in Florida somewhere

 

I don’t see anyway they would rest guys now, but your point about home field, is a good one; in a bubble, it’s completely useless, without the bubble, it’s only a small advantage this year.
