Injury Updates

The P-G is reporting that Haden is likely to be ready to return Monday night against the Bengals.

 

Really need Dotson and Conner to play and get some running game continuity going. Hope both are back tomorrow.

 

Not looking good for Dotson.

 

I assume JC will start at LG. Not exactly what you want to see with a group already struggling. Hopefully V Williams will be back but his Tweet about smoking 16 marb reds isn’t encouraging.

 

Dotson is the primary concern there. It doesn't bode well for rediscovering the running game against the Bengals.

I don't think we are going to see Williams, either.

 

No big surprises. I hope JC had a good week of practice.

 

I'm sure defenses will do some things to take advantage of Hassenauer's inexperience, but I'm actually fairly confident in his ability to know his responsibilities. I just worry that he won't be able to get them blocked, especially in the run game.

 

I know stat metrics are poor in modern football but I just peaked and saw that Cinci on paper do no look great against the run.

Maybe this can give the Steelers some type of confidence in being able to pull and over power with some speed because Wash and Buff seemed to be at the point of attack quicker and with more leverage.

Fingers crossed that the Steelers go TE heavy and impose their will by the 4th like the good old days.

 

McFarland is due for some after burner displays. Hope to see him with some carries.

 

Conner is out and Vince is still on the Covid list, so Scales gets elevated from the PS. Isidora has been activated. TE Raeder was waived to make room.

 

Oh lovely. Tuitt is hurting now, too.

On the plus side, Dotson getting in a full practice is huge.

 

Good thing Ben got a nice day off. Well deserved.

 

Listening to him, he is not worried that he isn't good enough anymore. Must have magic beans in his pocket.

 

Ben's been off three days in a row.

 

Does it matter? If Ben can’t throw it’s a moot point haha

 

I'm going in with the thought of actually watching the game. If you're going to just assume the loss, none of it is worth posting about.

Tuitt missed practice again today. So did Adeniyi, Gilbert, and Allen. They are going to be throwing practice-squad bodies at one of the better teams in the AFC Sunday. That's an issue.

Dotson's return is a positive step. I'll take the positive where I can find it at this point.

 

Yea I was really in to grinding for injury updates before the season ending injuries happened and Ben lost it all. Now Im afraid none of it matters a damn.

I mean there is still hope Ben can find it but it’s dwindling

I guess he would be a better option than Allen, but not by much.
