Injury Updates

I have not seen any information about any additional positives besides Macdonald. I am concerned about the rookie Macfarland however who missed practice yesterday with an illness. As I mentioned when Vance was sick you are either ill because of a hangover or Covid/flu/cold/Covid. Hopefully he was hungover.

If Ben doesn't test positive on Saturday he plays. Sweeping the division should be 1st priority. Barrow can put up numbers and has weapons, but, a crap O Line. Their D is average at best.

Alualu was full go at practice today.

Hilton was limited again, so he'll be questionable. Would be surprised if he played.

 

I was more focused on the idea that a player showing up hungover would be allowed to miss practice with an 'illness'.

 

I haven’t seen anything official yet but that would be great news to get Tyson back. Unfortunately Hilton’s shoulder seems messed up bad.

 

Well he wouldn’t say he was hungover he would say he wasn’t feeling well.

Alualu coming back would be huge, especially with Buggs listed as questionable. And another 'illness' is no bueno.

 

Great news on Tyson returning we need him to clog the middle.

I doubt Hilton is back as he hasn’t logged a full practice all week. Buggs also questionable which hurts our DL depth.

The Steelers announced on their Friday injury report that offensive line assistant coach Adrian Klemm will not coach Sunday because of an illness.

 

Looks like Mixon won't be playing. Giovanni is the bigger problem imo with the outside runs & short passing game.

 

Feels like this is on the precipice of a disaster any day now.

 

Watch the league make the Steelers go out and play no matter how many guys have to sit. Never mind the way they screwed the Steelers over when the Titans were in a similar situation earlier this season.

 

Exactly they have no more built in wiggle room so those early situations were the exception not the rule. If it happens now and 10 starters are out...... oh well call up the taxi squad. Not to mention us losing our bye.

 

Of course, that is going to just encourage teams to avoid being in compliance if they think they can get away with it.
