Injury Updates

Looks like besides the Scare to Big Boy we escaped this game with no serious injuries. We will find out more tomorrow however.

Really hoping Hilton can come back next week. I think Sutton has played well but he doesn’t play inside the box like Hilton does and we need help with the run D in a bad way.

Im assuming Tyson is still out another week or two but man we need him back also.

 

Need both back bad but yeah if they need to sit a bit more it’s ok

 

Sutton isn't the only one getting more snaps with Hilton out. The snaps he was getting before that have gone to Layne, who hasn't been great. I know against Baltimore, they gave many of those snaps to Highsmith. I'm not sure how much of that went on yesterday.

They really need Derek Watt back, too. I think his absence has hurt on special teams as well as on offense.

 

I just hope Alualu will be ready to go in time for the matchup with the Ravens. After that game the Ravens opponents consist of: Cowboys, Browns, Jaguars, Giants and Bengals. Hopefully they drop one of the next two games but either way we need to take care of business on Thanksgiving night.

 

I found myself during the game thinking Boy we could really use Hilton on one of his blitzes and sack the QB.

 

Obviously Vance will be on this list tomorrow. Gentry time??

 

Washington gets more snaps imo, he is probably a better blocker .

 

Good news, possibly great by Friday:

 

So it sounds like Hilton Tyson and Watt could all be back as long as they can get a full practice by Thursday I would assume. Wasn’t expecting Tyson back this early.

In terms of Ben Samuels Hawkins and Williams as long as they don’t test positive by Saturday they should be available.

I assume Macdonald is out regardless.

They aren't beating any decent team without Roethlisberger. Right now, the offense is far too dependent on him. The running game could falter even more without McDonald and Hawkins, who has been getting snaps as their extra tackle.

Tyson only got in a limited today and I anticipated him being out at least another week so I was surprised TOMLIN was upbeat on him. I would assume he would need to progress to full tomorrow to have a legit chance.

Hilton and Watt both practiced in full and are on track to play.

Obviously the waiting game is for Saturday to hope Ben Williams Samuels or Hawkins don’t test positive.

Macdonald will be out.

 

Hilton going in the wrong direction and another 'illness'.

 

Bad news on Hilton as the mid week downgrades almost always result in a player missing. He must have really messed up his shoulder. Tyson most likely still out as well so both defensive guys we were hoping on looking doubtful.

Macfarland with an illness and now all eyes and ears on if Covid has spread through the the clubhouse.

Not a good report after yesterday.

Hilton's whole game is based on physicality and if the shoulder is still sore he can't be effective no matter how much he wants to go.

 

I'd be shocked if Mason had more than 20 pass attempts lol.

 

Interesting usually when a guy goes backwards mid week it’s a sure sign they are out.

 

Any news on Ben has he tested negative all week ?
