    Todays participation:

QB Mason Rudolph (Concussion) - Full
FB Roosevelt Nix (Knee) - Full
LB Mark Barron (Hamstring) - Full
LB T.J. Watt (Abdomen) - Limited
    RB Jaylen Samuels (Knee) -Full
WR James Washington (Shoulder) - Full
CB Mike Hilton (Calf) - Full
CB Steve Nelson (Groin) - Full
TE Vance McDonald (Shoulder) - Full
CB Joe Haden (Groin) - Full
WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (Illness) - DNP

Pretty healthy. Washington is back, that's good news. Could be a good game for all our receivers to get on track.

Dolphins can't get any pressure on the QB and Mason has a league leading 127.8 passer rating when he has a clean pocket.

Where's Conner on that list though? He hasn't been ruled out, has he?

I don't think so. I would imagine that he has been removed. If not that, not sure.

Seriously need T.J. to play though. I do like Ola and I believe that his day will come. I just do not want said day to be Monday Night.

It's a big relief to see Steve Nelson a full participant.

I would sit Watt but that's just me. Not sure we can generate consistent pressure without watt/tuitt though.

Now if we could just stay relatively healthy the rest of the season. No more bye weeks!

    ESPN:

Conner, who is no longer feeling the effects of the quad injury that forced him out of action early in Week 6 -- is thus looking at a very nice matchup, as he's slated to take aim at the Dolphins defense....

    well not the greatest news...

"Sources say Conner sat on his chair wrong and tore both ACL's, dislocated his shoulder, suffered a contusion on his pelvis and a grade 3 left ankle sprain".

oh he said he will still play though lol

Barron was limited today, so that's a step back for him. Everyone else practiced fully, including JuJu and TJ.

I think they would need to pull a Chris Spielman to keep TJ frpm playing Monday Night

Barron will only get 11 snaps on defense Monday nite.......

With Vince back he’ll be beside Bush..... Barron becomes Bushes backup and may get a few snaps in sub packages.....

Red is Vince’s backup........ couldn’t go without mentioning his name!!!!!!!!!

Foster, Snell and likely Conner (doubtful) are out this week. Nix is questionable.

Do we promote a running back? Maybe an O linemen? They probably don't want to risk losing Lynch, so who would get dropped off the 53? My choice would be Switzer, but that won't happen.

I'm guessing if Conner can't play, they go with Samuels and Edmunds, the latter being the guy they just couldn't trust in garbage time enough to keep Conner safely on the sideline Monday night.

No kidding.... I was saying to my son, 'Why not give Edmunds some carries and spare Conner?' A few plays later... Conner gets hurt.

I thought Tomlin didn't live in his fears?

He doesn’t live in his fears. He only visits there very often.

That’s the problem, he wasn’t living in his fears. If he was he would have pulled Conner.

    Hey Glenn.

No, No. Big Bad Tomlin. "I am going to run the wheels off of my running backs". To this day this is one of the most idiotic things I have ever heard a coach say. Did he feel the need for some type of notoriety with this insane comment. Just plain stupid. If this is a creed that he lives by he really needs some self-reflection time. Just look at what happen to "Fast" Willie Parker and his wheels. STEELWINDS

I was at that game in St. Louis when Willie broke his leg.
Sometimes I wish he would live in his fears.

Agreed. Conner is a guy who gets hurt a lot, so you protect him when you can. It's also not as if he is this great finisher. Great finishers don't have ball security issues like he does.

Two ways to look at it, I guess... I think he was fearful of Edmunds having no experience and making a mistake. But I can definitely see the Conner angle too.

Hopefully Nix can play that game. Need him to. Without him, running the football will not be as easy.

    Hey Glenn.

Yeah, that was probably the downhill of his career if I recall. Well, Willie had his glory that I will always in part connect to his 75 -yard magnificent Super Bowl XL TD run. He was undrafted as I recall and the Steelers took a chance on him and it paid big dividends. What a great run for the Steelers as a Wild card to win it all. Just the whole Jerome Bettis connection to that run and championship was probably a once in a lifetime event. The stuff that dreams are made of. Willie probably wins the Rushing Title as well without that injury.

I hope life is treating Willie well. You know, our beloved Steelers come and go as Father Time or whatever reason catches up with them. It is great however to reminisce about the many awesome memories that most of them have given us. I try not to get to emotionally attached to them as it is a business and they do come and go. Some of it is also nostalgia and we think they will remain around forever until we get a dose of reality. Now only Ben is left from that Super Bowl team and his time is running out; hopefully, not too soon though. STEELWINDS
