any word on jj wilcox? vance mcdonald? tj watt?

    we need wilcox back quickly.

did we jump too fast on a TE again? is mcdonald what we need really? can he stay healthy and improve his hands?

i did hear tj watts groin injury wasn't too bad and he had a chance to play this week. any other news on it?

hopefully jesse (heath) james is good to go on that ankle.

The only thing they are saying is everyone has a chance to play. I wold bet they all play. It seemed from the begining that Watt's injury wasn't more than a tweak and young guys recover from that pretty quickly. Wilcox is in the final stage of the protocol and Tuitt said he is doing everything he can. No real word on Jesse James though.

I hope they all play except tuitt. I do not think we should need him, and I would like to see him get plenty of recovery time. As far as Vance McDonald goes he will be a work in progress once he gets on the field. Hopefully it doesn't end up like Green. Not really worried about TE position as Grimble would be a fine sub for James.

    Tuitt is questionable also.

Just a thought, but a groin injury is only "not too bad" when it's someone else's groin.

I for one, hope they keep Watt and Tuitt out. No need to rush either back imo. Too valuable to risk re-injury. Alualu and Walton are very capable and the same goes for Chick and JH92.

Are we going into the game with one TE then?

Will they put Nix or Juju into the 2nd TE spot?

I think Watt would downplay his pain so he could play. I would like to see Watt get the week off to avoid re-injury and have him available for sure against the Ratbirds.

    Tomlin, are you listening?

I would assume a combo of Hubbard and Nix, plus more 11 and 21 personnel playcalling

    is hawkins healthy?

with moats and JH as backups no need to rush watt.

grimble and an extra tackle along with nix, but.......... if hubbard is starting for gilbert that posses a problem. hawkins was ailing and does he know that extra TE spot? c'mon jesse.

tuitt i hope is recovered but if not fully, i'd sit him and use mccullers as the bu NT and move walton to the backup DE.

glad to hear wilcox is back.

I'm familiar with "OPM" but now you've coined "OPG" - ouch! As Hammer would say - U Can't Touch This"! ;)

Since folks had been talking about how Juju reminds them of Ward... made me recall Ward's early days when I was surprised to learn he was actually a WR and not a TE... seemed he was usually lining up in the slot and acting (i.e. blocking + catching).

Not looking too good for Watt or Gilbert, as neither practiced today. Some good news though..... Tuitt was a full participant.

    Jesse was limited today.

Like a lot of injuries, groin injuries can be better or worse. His is not severe, as if it was, he wouldn't be walking around and smiling: A severe groin is excessively painful - I had one that lasted for months and I kept reinjuring it. I don't think his is of that nature.

See, now there is the point.

I had a bad groin injury skiing. It was my groin. And it was bad.

Yours for me, wasn't too bad.

I think people need to realize players are never 100% healthy. Just depends who can play through the pain or how debilitating one injury is

Or in the case of Limas Sweed, how well you can fake it.
