So many things have to be clicking right to win a Super Bowl, and obviously one of the most critical is overall health.

So, I haven’t looked it up on purpose, but also cannot remember who in those two winning SB seasons was hurt. Significant players and starters of course; I’m not looking at depth guys at all.

We had to have some, it’s inevitable, but I simply cannot recall.

    Can you???

When the QB refuses to leave the game with a broken nose, it's harder for the other guys to let on they are hurt. Maybe not as much injury reporting?

Just in 2005, Roethlisberger missed 4 games and you could say that was why they were in the 6th seed since Maddox was awful in his 2 starts(and cost the game by himself vs jaguars)...And when Roethlisberger came back, he was rusty vs colts and bengals...but the best was yet to come!

For 2008, Ben didn't miss a game, but he had a shoulder problem after his first game and it affected him, especially in the middle of the season when he had a 3 game stretch with 1 TD and 8 INT...He was much better after that

The o-line was horrible and they had injuries like Marvel Smith and Simmons and they didn't play another snap after that with us and maybe for their career too

I'm pissed the KC Chiefs might get what should have been ours. 3 straight SB's. We win in 1976 minus the injuries. Our D had frigging 6 shut-outs I believe. let's see that happen in todays offensive oriented NFL. TBH, it is the reason I will root hard against them rest of the way. They can beat the Browns for sure. I'd love being the only AFCN team to beat them.
