I believe Free Agency tells us what the Steelers will do in the draft.

Scenario 1: Steelers get a center in FA, they then go Corner/Tackle in first 2 rounds.

Scenario 2: If they get a solid corner in FA, they go JPJ in draft. If taken, then top OT and hopefully Center Frazier in 2nd round.

I’m assuming the Pickett comment was tongue in cheek

But as a random trivia the actual oldest first round pick was Brandon Weeden who was 28

The Browns had 2 first round picks that year and screwed them both up taking Trent Richardson and Brandon Weeden.

Brian Thomas Jnr or Adonai Mitchell for me at 20. I'd be okay with Quinton Mitchell or Latham too.

And I won't be sad with Kool Aid or Cooper Dejean.

But if history id indicative of the future, it will be JPJ... The Steelers telegraph their 1st pick more than any other team in the NFL.

I don't mean to pry, but you don't by any chance happen to have small hands do you?

Graham Barton is starting to become more and more likely imo. Again, history is far more on his side than it is Jackson Powers Johnsons. That said... Pittsburgh does have more hands in the Front Office than the Colbert years did. I am praying... and I mean PRAYING the Steelers bring the house to Oregon tomorrow.

I would be shocked if they did.... just like I was in 2023 when the Steelers brought the house to Iowa's Pro Day; something that hadn't happened since 2008. For even better reference, Pittsburgh has not selected an Oregon Offensive Player since Paul Wiggins; the first of two third round picks back in the 1997 NFL Draft. The other?! A Linebacker by the name of Mike Vrabel.

Wouldn't be surprised if they were out on the coast today. Oregon State is Monday, Oregon is Tuesday. Fuega and Oladopo on Monday, Jackson-Powers et al on Tuesday.

Sounds like Khan and Tomlin wrapped up what they needed to yesterday, although I'm pretty sure Khan has other stuff he has to deal with the next two days. Hoping Tomlin can make it.

    Correct.

Key things to note is that for a Player to be considered a First Round hopeful, Omar Kahn and Mike Tomlin have to be there. Been that way since 2010 circa Maurkice Pouncey.

My money is still on the O-Line. RT followed by C in the first round.

Latham, Mims and then JPJ. I see one of those players available at the #20 spot.

Steelers o-line coach Pat Meyer was at the Oregon State pro day today to check out Fuaga. Cowboys, Jets, Bears, Broncos, and Jags were the other teams who sent their o-line coaches. I'm thinking not many head coaches or GMs will be out this week, with free agency and all. Expect them all at the Oregon pro day tomorrow.
