harbaugh's are idiots - playing Jimmy, I was thinking of his brother. the sloppy series of penalties late in the 3rd Q - very Harbaugh-esque

Johnny is always our BEST chance to win the NORTH!!!!

johnny is part of why the ravens can't get over the hump

It was definitely a penalty. The hit itself didn't warrant a suspension, but James being a repeat offender did.

Harbaugh was standing up for his player, which is to be expected.

    Nothing to see here......

Typically, this would go against the Steelers.
    As in:

No penalty flag thrown for the hit and the removal of Muth for the rest of the game under "concussion" protocol.
Add to that an unsportsmanlike penalty thrown against the Steelers for a player simply jawing with a charger player after the shat hit.

Johnny coached a team that beat Brady/Patriots, P. Manning/Broncos and won a Super Bowl with Joe Flacco at QB. Popcorn could never come close to accomplishing that.... even with a HOF QB. Nevermind winning the Super Bowl or beating the Broncos with Manning.... just the fact that Ravens beat Brady/Patriots in the playoffs IN THEIR PRIME makes it impressive. Steelers never could do that. And that is one huge feather in the cap that Harbaugh has... and Tomlin lacks.

I dislike both Harbaugh's, especially with Jim and TTUN.

However, I can respect him as a man of Faith.

If I remember correctly, Tomlin has a 20-15 record against Harbaugh. Does head-to-head not matter?

Ravens fans are as negative about Harbaugh as Steelers fans are about Tomlin.

Standing up for your player is one thing, but to imply that he did absolutely nothing wrong and try to shift the blame onto Friermuth is pretty weak.

Tomlin is 20-15 all time vs Harbaugh and 2-1 in the playoffs. I wouldn't say he OWNS Harbaugh, but he has gotten the upper hand. Both have a SB win and some playoff success. Both have had some playoff struggles with teams that shouldn't be struggling as much in the playoffs too. Harbaugh had a good amount of success vs the Pats during their "dynasty" run, something that Tomlin can't say, but each have their pros/cons. I would call both of them pretty good coaches based on their history, neither of them are great coaches. Tomlin had a shot, but the lack of success in the Killer B's era and his inability to return to playoff success (and the way he's lost these games) has greatly damaged his legacy. He's going to be our coach for a while whether you love it or hate it, so lets see if he can turn it around.

At the end of the day it's a great rivalry between the two teams/coaches, and one that makes both organizations better.

I see your point about the Super Bowl run, but if the run itself is evidence of great coaching, then why has Harbaugh done nothing since.

In the 12 years following that Super Bowl, the Ravens have made the playoffs 6 times. During those 6 playoff runs, they are 3-6.

After Ray Lewis and Ed Reed retired it was no coincidence that Harbaugh went from a great coach to an average one.

And after Hines Ward, Troy Polamalu, James Harrison, James Farrior, Casey Hampton, Aaron Smith, Heath Miller, Lawrence Timmons, Ike Taylor and Ryan Clark retired.... Tomlin became an average coach.

That hit alone did not warrant a suspension, but this was not the first infraction for James. Repeated reckless regards for opponents got him suspended.

That's true too. It is kind of like Andy Reid in reverse who had a reputation of an all time playoff choker until he got Patrick Mahomes. Now he is on the Mount Rushmore of NFL coaches.

And here we freakin go, another topic that turns into a Tomlin sucks. In this topic it discusses how we have owned the Harbaughs. Says nothing about playoff of other opponents agains other opponents in playoffs.

Why is it a must you always have to bring up Tomlin in every topic?
