Imagine this: Dupree's hit, not on Moore, but on Brady...

After seeing Brady complain for textbook hits he received, I was wondering...
What would have been the outcome if Dupree's hit on Moore had been on Brady?

I can clearly see Brady yelling at the official, well, that if he was able to stand up....

It will happen but we need to take care of Kansas City first.

I think the refs are tired of getting showed up by Brady. Right after he threw a huge fit tonight on the very next play they called offensive holding. I didn't really notice what the flag was for but just wondered if they didn't do that just to send a signal to Brady that he needed to knock it off. Sorta like in baseball when umps make certain calls to shut up a whiny pitcher.

Brady is too smart to take a hit like that. He throws the ball away well before that.

That said, it is incredibly annoying to watch him whine for a flag practically every time he gets hit.

Brady probably leaves the game after that hit. Dupree probably gets thrown out of the game, fined and suspended. That said, Dupree seems to be getting better every game. We will be seeing many more big hits from him in the future.

One of the reasons Brady has been in the league so long is that he doesn't take hits like that. He would have folded like a lawn chair and hit the turf before Dupree ever got a chance to hit him. He's a master at avoiding the big hit.

I think Dupree would have been ejected from the game for hitting Brady like that.

There was a hit like that yesterday. No penalty because the QB was a runner.

Shoulder hit with contact from the helmet to the facemask area, same as Dupree's hit except the QB didn't just release the ball a half a second before impact.

Dupree keep this style of play up for three more games and we have a great chance of being Superbowl champs

Wow funny you said this cause I did notice that and said the same thing. I think the ref's are getting a little sick of everyone complain about the hits and now on prime time even more. I totally agree with the baseball comparison for sure, good call.

He'd be arrested on the field by the MA state police, and taken to a secret detention center for interrogation by the people who keep a large collection of JH's pee.

Yeah in the Seahawks/Falcons game and I sat there wondering what his fine would look like. It was almost identical to the Moore/Dupree hit too except like you said Wilson was running and didn't attempt to pass.

Just as in previous games he had an off game throwing two picks, and he was frustrated for much of the game, if Houston would have had a better QB that game would have been way closer than the Pats would have liked.

I think that was the hit TTF can't tell because on the replay they got closer and showed his shoulder hitting and then the helmet to facemask as well.

Think that's it. He lead with shoulder and his helmet actually hit Wilson's same as the Dupree hit.

I guess it didn't look bad so they held the flag....maybe it's because he wasn't looking to throw the ball at all. I don't know anymore...

Yup, they just needed a couple plays to bounce their way. They had the defense torched for a couple easy TD's and dropped them.

That just let the Pats defense sit back and ball hawk when the score got greater than on TD ahead.

I was saying last night the beauty of BB system is they design plays to get a specific guy open and Brady never has to go through progressions, it is what helps him get rid of the ball so fast. They would scheme for the matchup of Edelman on Jackson because he could get that step on him. They would hit Lewis out of the backfield with that slower LBer on him. Anytime the designed player was covered and Brady had to start looking over his progressions he threw the ball away or the pressure made him make a bad throw.

TB would have a larger hitting area, it would great to see the great TB tapping out.

He'd get flagged and that's it.

Brady has been crushed before without anyone getting ejected.

But then again, I don't wear a tin foil hat
