Well me and Tomlin_Era are President and Vice President of the WE LOVE TODD HALEY WITH EVERY BREATH WE TAKE CLUB but if you like you can be the Speaker of the House. I mean that's the 3rd in line. Plus you still get your own plane. LOL.

I'm in but I'm gonna have to keep you both in line like the real world. Known TH since 8th grade. Who would have thought that the kid that passed up football for the HS golf team would be calling the shots for Ben?

Well I know it's been a while but what do you think about all the people who say that he's an abrasive jerk?

He was but times change. We went to a high school full of jocks and greasers. You can probablly tell which end I was on and he was on. I was in the band and he was in the stands as he didn't play even though coach Render wanted him to. By the way Render still coaches our High School.

I guess it's hard to be humble when you get to grow up around Jack Lambert and Mean Joe. I think most high school kids with that Facebook Friend List would probably stick their chests out too. LOL.

We are 2nd in the league on Time of Possession by less than a minute to the Texans. We hold the ball on average almost 35 minutes a game. With more run production this could go up even more.

Don't forget 1st in the league in 3rd downs. Heath Miller is FINALLY being used properly. Ben is still Ben but when you make it manageable for him he can be tuned like a piano.

what does that have to do with what i said? why haven't we been able to put a team away yet? what the hell does that have to do with BA? we had one TD in the last 34 minutes of this game. i for one can see that is not stellar. i don't care who's offense it is. there are tons of OC's out there that could make things run smoother. i'm just saying this one is not finishing games. much like BA's i might add. i don't think it's time to do the SB shuffle yet with this offense.[/quote:o5bmqu83]

Sorry, Mac. I guess what I was getting at is that with a big lead, midway through the 3rd, the key is to have long drives, keep the D rested, and wear out the opponent. This means converting big third downs and NOT turning the ball over. They certainly held on to the ball...but on a couple of occasions, like the one I mentioned, the third down conversions didn't happen.

With a big lead, the strategy changes.

The reason I think we've yet to play a complete game is because we still are not putting up enough points in the 4th. I've not actually looked but how many 4th quarter points have we put up? Does anyone know that stat?

Haley is also a local boy from Midway/McDonnald. Also he is my cuz who I never laid eyes on and he hasn't laid eyes on me either. Part of that Campbell Scherman clan over there

As I stated in a previous post early last week, the reason Haley was
brought in was to IMPROVE BEN R, early indications seem to be pointing that way. INT down/preperation up
not making stupid throws WAY UP, Using all his weapons way up.I know its early but I think we have all seen
improvement in #7, lets hope it continues.

no problem 12to88, i'm just concerned that they were within two scores of tying this thing. they did move the ball on us, but shot themselves in the foot. we have a high powered offense, and seem to be happy sitting on that lead. that used to drive me crazy when cowher was here. he'd sit on a 3 point lead and expect his high powered D to hold it. we don't have that luxaury right now and have to keep our foot on the throttle.

a simple FG would have made it a 3 score game. against good teams, they will not drop those balls. it's not so much they dropped the balls but their guys were open and dropped the balls. that was a long stretch we went through only scoring one TD. if we want to be in the PO conversation we have to finish teams that we have on their heels.

we have beaten 4 bad teams, lost to 2 bad teams, and got beat by a lower tier playoff team so far. i'm not ready to annoint this offense the greatest show on turf yet. or haley a striking success. just because some think it looks better then BA's, doesn't mean it's where we need it to be yet. the stats, and redzone scoring has not been much better than it was before. we started off well sunday only to go into a funk for some reason, that's my concern. we need 60 minutes out of the O this year, and they are capable.

Looking at the high school one would think so. There are still pockets on the outskirts of USC that still struggle to pay those outrageous taxes so that others can turn their nose up at the rest of society. I keep telling my mom to split but she's been rooted there since 53'
