he's the HC and ultimately has to take responsibility.

while I agree that the results so far over his term make it too early for him to get fired, the Rooneys might put some kindling under his chair if the season ends at .500 with some ugly looking play.
one of the reasons why the steelers have been so good over a long period of time is the consistency and not-overreacting to bad losses/seasons.
cowher had sub .500 seasons multiple times (1998: .438 / 1999: .375 / 2003: .375), yes not with a franchise qb like Ben under center, but still ...

The Cower influence on this team has worn off several seasons ago leaving Tomlin in control. Tomlin has failed to make any improvements what so ever on defienciencys like the running game etc, since he has been here, yes he loves talking about what needs done every weekly press confrence a repeat of the previous and the one before that but fails to correct problems.

Its time for the fans to remove themselves from the Tomlin Talk and focus on the product Tomlin is putting on the field each week. Tomlin's first year was a pass IMHO but since then I have been gunshy about his coaching and holding some accountability to coaches and players, seems he stands back in the crowd letting his coaches coach then becomes more visable after a win.

Remove Tomlin from a micrphone and he is an average coach at best.

I guess his D is better depending on the other team. The weren't very good against Flacco. I agree on Lebeau and I wonder if Tomlin actually has the ability to fire him or do the Rooneys force him to keep him around.

Is Tomlin the problem or is it Lebeau? Palmer is really familiar with our D so what do we do???? We change absolutely NOTHING and show him exactly what he has been seeing with us for the past decade. Why not change it up like last year against Brady?? :frustrated:
