Who would you put it on??? The radio stations in my area have been doing all sorts of SB related things on their morning shows.

They asked this question this morning. It is almost 50/50 KC/SF. The over/under was more like 75/25 favoring the over.

Most people calling in actually placed bets. I'd love to be in the betting rooms in AC Sunday but I'm sure they won't have near the excitement as Vegas.

I'm not headed up to the Casino's but if I was I'd put money on KC to cover and the over. It's a damn good thing I didn't feel like going to AC for the Playoffs. I'd have been out some $$$$$.

Chiefs and the under. I feel pretty strongly about the Chiefs, because as I had mentioned in another thread, I don’t trust Brock Purdy. I like the under because I have trouble seeing the losing team getting past 21 points. It’s close on the over under though.

you don't trust Brock Purdy? I don't get this attitude. He had 70% completion average. 31 TDs and 11 ints. those are elite stats. I trust him implicitly and wish we had him on our team But then our team would have ruined him. He's a great QB

I think what him and I are saying is we think the moment will be to big for him. I think he's an amazing QB especially being taken at the end of Draft. Problem is the guy on the other side has a ton of experience in the big game.

I really hope he gets it done but my money (sadly) is on KC.

I don’t think Purdy is any better than a middle-of-the-road QB. I’m not sure what he would be without the truly elite talent around him. McCaffery, Samuel, Kittle, Aiyuk. That is a murderers row of elite playmakers. Yet, even with those guys and a good line and defense, just to get to the SB he needed a young Green Bay team to collapse and the Detroit coach to piss away the opportunity because he stuck to his “analytics” (not to mention a lucky deep pass that should have been intercepted but ended up being a critical completion off the defender’s face mask). Purdy was amazingly average in both games. Not terrible, but not championship caliber. KC isn’t going to choke like Green Bay and Detroit did. If Purdy has to make plays, I don’t see him getting it done. IMO for the 49ers to win, it’s going to take plays by the defense and the other offensive playmakers making plays.

I guess we’ll see in a few hours. No sense debating it now.

Yeah Terry Bradshaw was only good because of Swan Stallworth and Franco. Great defense as well. I guess Terry only succeeded because of his supporting cast. He gets the ball to his recievets and check downs as good as any QB in the league. He is an elite QB

I'm not vetting either, but I haven't anyway, lol. This one is really hard. I would not bet against Mahomes OR Andy Reid who is something like 85% in wins coming off a bye week. And you really just fo not know against the 49's, Shanahan is really good as well, the Chiefs D has been pretty spectacular and underrated. If Purdy controls it and they get on a roll it actually could be a near blow out, though I don't think that will happen, for me it;s who makes the plays and limits mistakes.

Who said that? You hold the position that he's only successful because of the team around him. I pointed out the fact that Terry Bradshaw had an all world team around him on both offense and defense. I'm assuming then that you think Bradshaw was only good because of the team surrounding him. That is a natural conclusion based on your statements

Really. So Brock Purdy depends on those around him but Bradshaw did it all on his own? So I guess you're poi t is beyond me. But then I'm not the smartest guy in the world. I apologize for being so dense

There are so many ways to break that down, but in reality TB calling his own plays and the first few years Vs his last few was a really different type of play.

I placed so many bets on this game I can't even remember them all.

KC +1.5 and the over - Parlay
    Mahomes to win MVP
KC to score points in every quarter
Both teams to have a rusher over 89 yards
Purdy and Mahomes to both throw over 284 yards
Mahomes and Aiyuk to be the top passer/receiver combo
Both Kelce and Aiyuk to go over 50 yards
Both teams to score a TD in each half

Plus about 10 more or so.
