if we lose Mike Wallace to the Patriots?

Wallace will be resigned, he has accounted for about half the Steelers touchdowns the last two seasons, you just don't let that walk away.

 

We will Franchise him till the year after when we can afford him.He would not be the only missing piece to put the Patriots over the top. Their D is in need of an overhall

Woodson yes....Faneca no.

Actually Woodson no too really....The Steelers wanted to pay Rod Safety money...and have him be the FS....he felt he could still play corner...and signed a CORNER deal with the 49ers.....he lasted one year there...before they cut him and he went to play FS with the Ravens and then the Raiders.....The Steelers knew he needed to make the move before he did....

Faneca had one year at average play left in him....and he was the highest paid G in the league during it thanks to the Jets....the right move was to let him walk.....actually the right move would have been to trade him the year before as I was wanting to do.

i read that his market value is around 9 milion a year , ouch , i thought 7 was enough

 

Yep about 9 Mil a year and the signing Bonus will be the key IMO.....There are a lot of Teams with some nice cap space and may make his price to high for us to match.....
