With the No.1 Defense. With his ability to read a Defense and pass into traffic our running game would have done much better. With our group of receivers who knows. Would have taken some insanity and gonads of steel to Dump Ben for an injured Peyton. I think we would watching the Steelers today instead of Ratburds v Donkeys.

So our SRs would have caught passes that hit them right in the hands if they came from Manning instead of Ben?

I'll be rooting for him today. Last thing I want to see is Ray Lewis or Tom Brady in the SB.

I was thinking along the same lines, only something that deals with zig-zags.

We got rid of our drunken kicker so he would have been good there. I'm a huge Ben supporter but I can't help but think of the possibilities after I "popped the cork on that thought.". :goofy:

You're operating under the assumption that Peyton would have wanted to come to Pittsburgh.

Just because Pittsburgh would have wanted him doesn't mean the feeling would've been mutual.

The question was how many he would have had with the Steelers, not how many he has had.

Manning would be in a wheelchair by now with the crappy OLines Pittsburgh has had since ... for ages.

I almost have to cry when I see how much time Manning has in the pocket against the Ravens, Ben has HALF that time, at best

Manning would take to many hits as he has almost zero mobility and I don't care if he gets rid of the ball fast, how many times have we witnessed a missed block on the line that allowed a free rusher that either delivers a hit to Ben or dumps the RB immediately after he gets the handoff? Remeber when we lost that game to the Jets with the safety, Ramone Foster whiffs on a block and Jason Taylor, who was already washed up, tackles Mewelde Moore after his first step, how many times would Manning be able to avoid a free rusher and how often will he hang in the pocket to deliver an intermediate or long pass while taking a shot, he would get killed here and we'd have a 4-12 season.

Manning choking in the playoffs again, no big surprise

Lighting it up in the regular season, as soon as the pressure is on, he ****s up. Eli > Peyton in the post-season by far

    Yes, Eli is more clutch.
I guess the ultimate QB would be to have Petyon for the offseason, then switch to Eli for the post. Somehow you'd have to work Archie in there...

When Peyton was rolling out to the right I thought to myself he sure looks like Ben and then I thought it was going to end bad for him. And sure enough...

Actually I said throw it away, you're not Ben. Ben excels at those type of throws.

Now Peyton's playoff record is 9-8. Oh how happy BFT is at this moment. You see people the enemy of my enemy is my friend. But now it will be so much sweeter for me to watch Brady pound the rats in to the ground and watch Ray Lewis walk away crying. Hopefully Brady does Ray Lewis's dance right in his thug face. LOL.

I really haven't watched Denver much this season. Their WR's are all slow and get no separation at all except the TE'S.
