Bill Belichick's record without Tom Brady as his starting quarterback is 83–104, which includes his time with the Cleveland Browns

Tomlin's record since Roethlisberger retired after the 2021 season is 19-15 or something like that

Brady worked hard to get the best out of himself

Ben did not that is why I am not a Ben supporter

If Tomlin had Brady he would have won more than he did with Ben

    Nope, not even close.

We had a good, not quite Brady QB, and I don't think Belichick is nearly as good as his reputation, but he's still leaps and bounds better coach than Tomlin has have hoped to be.

Sad that Tomlin is being mentioned in coach of the year discusssions, but still needs fired. I guess we'll know for sure come late December/January. Another playoff laugher, assuming we make it, it's not locked up yet, has to seal it. I just don't get how you can watch what the Steelers have become the last 12 or so years and think Tomlin shouldn't have been fired 5 years ago. I'll probably never see another playoff win...and that sucks.

I just know that no matter who Belichick had as his QB that he always beat the Steelers. He came here last year with Bailey Zappe and beat us.

that's not true they went to the playoffs twice without Brady. He made it but didn't do anything in the playoffs without Brady. That's why I give Cowher a lot of credit he never had a great QB until the end with Ben. He made it to the playoffs with multiple QB's.

I'm guessing Giselle would have been on BBC earlier in her career.

Brady >> Roethlisberger. WE can all agree on that and that ANY coach would have more success with Brady than Ben, for the reason you stated. Ben just didn't seem interested in "studying" the extra time that it takes to become THE best QB in the league, and Ben didn't take as good of care of his body physicaly as Brady.

All that said, Belichik is still a much better coach than Tomlin. A bar of soap is Tomlin's equal. Tomlin is a cheerleader and players like him, but he is not and never has been a good or even average coach when it comes to what transpires on that giant rectangle with grass.

Amen. Belichick absolutely owns Tomlin. Bill probably mailed it in during prep week for Steelers and probably had a hard time laughing hysterically watching the Tomlin led STeelers look lost EVERY single time we met the Patriots in a playoff game. We only won when some OTHER team knocked out Brady and Belichick.

Is there a coach in the league that doesn't salivate over facing Tomlin in January? He's a laughingstock among his peers. A clown. An empty suit.

That old NE Offensive Line coach helped keep Tom relatively clean.

Yeah that's Why He had 8 not 500 records, but losing seasons, and His last season without Brady he went 3 - 14. That was some serious HCing there.

No way of telling but possibly the only Brady name we'd know nowadays would be upload_2024-11-27_11-23-14.jpeg .

I always liked Jan better. I knew that Marcia was out of my league but I might have a chance at Jan.

Very tough to answer this one because of what we saw happen when Brady left NE. Most had thought it was the system (including me), not Brady. In the NFL highly accurate passing and not throwing picks goes a long way to winning. Brady rarely made bad throws and his few picks were usually the tipped ball variety. I should have known it was mostly Brady in hindsight.

Seems to me Belicheat`s biggest contribution to winning was to take away something from the opposition`s offense.

I don`t know Tomlin`s true contribution to the game plan. I assume something on defense too.

Nowadays players are so rich there is some value to a coach having a good rep among the players. That had a lot to do with Wilson and Fields choosing to come here and look how much improved the quarterback room is now.

My guess answer to the question is about the same success.

big difference between not liking tomlins coaching skills and hating tomlin . As to the post Brady probably would not have lasted long enough or even been a starter under tomlin . Part of what I dislike about tomlin is he imho plays favorites sometimes over most talented and I do not see him coaching good players into great players . Brady was a 7th round pick , what did mike do with a 1st. round pick and why was kenny a 1st round pick > cheat a chick took a lot of rejects and made them good players , not to mention tomlins choice of coaches is not stellar . I can respect those who like zmike as i like him as a person but not as our coach.
