Talking with guys yesterday and they said why waste your time hoping to make Playoffs, your team will get killed in the first round. I certainly understand that is a 99% probability but I'd love for Kenny to have a Playoff game under his belt. IMO the second half of season was a great positive for the Steelers and Kenny. A Playoff game, win or lose is just another plus for our future with Pickett.

You all understand should we get lucky and make Playoffs but get blown out in first game there will be posters who will give Tomlin a ton of crap for another 1 and done. I won't be one of them.

 

I'm guessing by 4:30 EST you'll be ready for bed

 

I had that attitude at one time but now an extension to any Steelers season I'll gladly welcome.

 

I can't even think playoffs until after this game. I believe my superstition does have a direct correlation to the outcomes of games and so I'm protecting the brand. You're welcome. JMSO>

Another week of practice and game reps for this offense is always a positive. I don't care about the outcome although winning would be sweet.

 

I took my son up to the Buffalo Bills game and we watched our team get walloped 38-3 and we stayed to the very end. With less than a minute left in the game we started a HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO! chant that got the few remaining Steelers fans to join us in on. Bills fans were laughing at us all while the Steelers played a terrible game and the girl in front of me said you guys truly are real fans. I hope that we make the playoffs and the first game leaves a bad taste in the Steelers mouths and they have redemption on their minds.

Bring it on!

 

I'm not going to say I don't care about the outcome. A Superbowl win sure would be nice, but I know that's just not realistic. I expect any of the big boys to blow them out of the water in the first round so a loss won't bother me. I'll gladly enjoy watching 1 more Steelers game next week though.

And I have a brother with season tickets....
