There is one aspect of this game that should worry the steelers, and that's the Oline, and heres why?

    Pittsburgh Post Gazzette

Jacksonville is a team in disarray, but, in order for the Steelers to take advantage of the Jaguars defense, they must first find some consistency within their offensive line.

The Jaguars do not excel in many areas, but rushing the passer is one of them. They are second in the league with 12 sacks.

The Steelers have allowed Ben Roethlisberger to be sacked 11 times. Only the Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs have allowed their quarterbacks to be sacked more.

The five sacks allowed against the Buccaneers, who had four in their first three games, were a season high. It was the fifth time in the past 20 games the Steelers have given up five sacks in a game. They did it four times last season against the Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots.

None that I participate in. This one keeps me busy enough.

But Steeler Nation is very large, and has many states. :D Some are too gaudy for my tastes. Others too cheerleadery (yes, I just made up that word) or even too pessimistic (although Stillers.com can be quite entertaining to read sometimes)

In the end, it comes down to community. I love this one.

(Congrats to TTF. We made the first 3 spots if you search "Steelers message board." :applaud::herewego:)

There was one other I was a part of long ago. Might have been steelersfever. It wasn't nearly as good though and I ended up only posting here instead of both.

As for what I'll say if we lose to the Jags, I honestly don't think I'll have anything to say at all. I will be completely dumbfounded if we lose to the Bucs and the Jags in back to back weeks. I won't even know what to say or think.

(It won't come to that. I feel a beat down coming on)

We all know that coaches aren't responsible for the quality of play on the field. ;)

The board hasn't gone nuclear... more a strange sense of ambivalence.

Yeah, never has a win felt more like a "count your blessings. There won't be many more."

I think a lot of us are just resigned to it now.

It's a baby step forward. Especially after last week's debacle. We've got to win these winnable games against lesser opponents and steal a few against better teams. It probably shouldn't have been as close as it was, but this time we found a way to hold on instead of finding a way to lose. So, as Bellechick would say "we're on to Cleveland."
