Maybe we can file an injunction and get the rest of the regular season suspended. Since they cant seem to suspend Zeke, maybe suspending the rest of the season will suffice.

Not any more relevant than the stuff you post, buddy, after all, this is a message board.

Just shows that we're in the driver seat of the AFC and AFC North(obviously) and control our own destiny.

Well I will go out on a limb and say we absolutely will win the AFC North. Now I give us a 75-80% chance at first round bye. About a 40-50% chance at #1 seed.

    Right now I'm guessing 12-4.

I actually think our chances are a little higher at keeping a hold of the top spot.

I don't see a single team in the AFC that's convincing to run the table. The Jags have a favorable schedule, but I'm not sold on them yet. We made them look a lot better than what they are. So it really all comes down to the game against the Pats. That's the silver tuna.

I apologize if I came off as a jerk but I just don't see how this really matters at all with so much of the season still to be played out. I do agree that we control our own destiny. Hopefully the team takes full advantage of this opportunity or we will probably be watching NE in the SB again.

The game against the Pats right now is a two-bagger. One in the win column and the tie-breaker. So yeah, it probably comes down to that game.

I think if we use ben for qb sneaks, Landry between the 20’s and dobbs in the redzone it will keep defenses honest. Maybe use Conner to throw some passes, also Golden to dhb a little more too. We need to score imo

Yeah, looking at playoff scenarios this early isn't really my bag, especially given that just about every season for the last five years the second half of the season has thrown up loads of surprises across the league. I guess it's similar in some ways to how some people base the entire season around 'beating New England' and that alone. Lots of football to be played yet.

However - some folks like looking at it, and it's good to see the Steelers as the number one seed, however long it lasts.

Some teams fade down the stretch in November and December... and there may be a couple of 3-5 teams that go on a roll and win most of their remaining games. Happens every year.

Let's check out the past 10 SB winners.

    2016: pats= defense ppg 1st, rush d 3rd offense 3rd ppg
    2015: denver= defense ppg 4th, rush d 3rd, offense 19th ppg
    2014: pats = defense ppg 8th, rush d 9th, offense 4th ppg
    2013: seattle= defense ppg 1st, rush d 7th, offense 8th ppg
    2012: baltimore defense ppg 12th rush d 20th offense 10th ppg
    2011: giants defense ppg 25th rush d 19th offense 9th ppg
    2010: packers defense ppg 2nd rush d 18th offense 10th ppg
    2009: saints defense ppg 20th rush d 21st offense 1st ppg
    2008: steelers defense ppg 1st rush d 2nd offense 20th ppg
    2007: giants defense ppg 17th rush d 8th offense 14th ppg

2010 and 2011 pit were 1st in defense ppg

Giants and Baltimore played out of their minds come playoff time. Hot and healthy applied here.

6th out of the remaining 7 had a top 10 defense. 5 out of those 7 had a top 10 offense.

So two things can happen. 1. Steelers play out of their minds come playoff time and sneak a 7th Lombardi.

Or, Steelers continue to improve on defense, fail on offense and win like the 2015 broncos/2008 steelers did. 6 out of 10 had good rush defense so not the be all end all.
