If the Rams offer Wallace a contract the Steelers cannot match, would you be happy with the Rams' overall 6th pick in the first round? or would you trade the 6th pick for multiple picks?

    please discuss..

It's not an issue. No one above the mid-late teens will offer Wallace a contract.

But since you asked, I'd probably trade down a couple spots and take DeCastro or Kuechly.

First, giving up a first for a WR, when you could just as easily draft a WR at #6, doesn't make a lot of sense so I don't expect this to happen.

For discussions sake though let's at least consider it.

IMO, if you lose Wallace for the #6 pick you have no choice but to consider trading the pick. You look to make a Washington type deal. I don't know what the cost would be, but let's say you can trade the #6 for the #15 and a #1 next year and a #3 next year. That is a trade you make. I personally do not want to stay at #6. I would rather trade back into the 20s and get multiple picks than stay at 6.

I agree....Trade down and he is correct no one will give up a pick higher than 20 for Wallace....

One thing to consider though is Teams still have plenty of time to trade back or trade players for more picks.....IMO we wont hear much until Lloyd is signed...After that Teams who really need or want a WR will start trying to figure out if Wallace is worth making a move for...

the rams can't make an offer since they traded their original first round pick

this isnt true. All that matters is that they have a 1st round pick..it doesnt matter how they got it.

Lets use Cincy as an example.. They have 2 picks in the 1st round. Cincy has the option on what pick to give up in a Wallace deal.

Well Blackan is going to cleveland so it will come down to do the view Wallace value more than the 2nd best wr in the draft. If they offer him a contract take caiborne from LSU at 6 and hightower at 24 and Defens is set long term.

Trade back with Chiefs so that they can pick Richardson. #11, third this year, third next year. Take Poe with #11, Hightower with #24. Draft G/T/S with 2nd and 2 3rd round picks. WR if someone amazing drops.

no they need to have their original first round pick or better , for cincy is 21 or 17 because the one they acuired is better but not if was worst , for the rams could have been their original 2 or if they acquired the one
i'm sure ,i read the rule and was posted in other thread

It's crazy, we might as well discuss what we will do if the Colts tender Wallace too.
