Question friend. Exactly what is the going rate to be an agent for backup QBs? Because with level of Mason favorable spin you sir deserve a raise.

 

I get that and agree that there's definitely a chance that these three guys, or maybe others we haven't thought about, can't fit in. There's also a chance that either they can, or that with new coaches they can benefit from a clean slate and new coaching style and skills.

The best part going into this season for me is the unknown. Any time you get a new staff there will be some things that are unexpected that will happen.

 

Stop everyone. Drew , and Howard are never going to be good so stop talking about them. I have it on good authority right here on the board that you can't find a good Qb unless you have a losing season, and draft high, and apparently it's not who you pick ,but when you pick them.

 

Actually, the best scenario is to play at least one of them to see what we have at that position. If they don't play, we won't know in 2027, and that could be another wasted season. But if we play them in 2026, we'll get more answers, and if one of them becomes a franchise quarterback, fantastic!

But if they're complete trash, the Steelers will get a high draft pick and a better chance of getting a true franchise quarterback in the 2027 draft, so it would be a win-win situation in that case for the steelers
