Thinking of head coach material isn't something I do that often, being that ours won't be going anywhere until he chooses to, but with that being said I'd still like to play along. After a brief brainstorming session I came up with:

    Sean Kugler
    Keith Butler
    Bruce Matthews

I'd have to research for a while to come up with a serious candidate, if not one of those three guys.

It couldn't be Landry. He never showed any emotion. Imagine how he'd be ripped on here after a loss. Besides, he was a Cowboy. For all of you who want an emotional coach, how'd that work for the 9ers today?

He is not going to be going anywhere to soon, (or should I say soon enough)

They would have to bring in someone that can evaluate talent the transitioning from
College to the pros. Coach T and Colbert and thier staff are missing badly from what I see
and it has caught up to us.

I think coaching fires for the most part are dumb, look at Tom Coughlin for example, just about 5 years ago, he was on the hot seat, everyone said he needed fired, the guy goes and wins two Superbowls, now they call him a Hall of Fame coach.

And let me say this about Tomlin, we haven't had a below .500 season since he has been coach. Bill Cowher had a really bad time from 98-2000 and Steelers still kept him, so get used to Tomlin he isn't going anywhere.

Interesting. I'd say since he's been in the job his results have been pretty damn good. So let me see you think he doesn't act, isn't accountable, pays no attention to detail and he's an average coordinator at best but yet you hope he succeeds LMAO!

Watching the game tonight (Den vs SD) I realized that if hell does in fact freeze over and we let Coach Tomlin walk at some point in the not too distant future, it may just be around the time that Peyton Manning is calling it quits. I'd be willing the give the reigns of the team to him without him even serving an internship somewhere as an OC. Kind of outside of my OL/defense coaching philosophy, but I'd risk it.

Just playing along here guys; not advocating a Tomlin removal!
