Win at all costs. This is the Steelers, not the Browns.

We need to draft a qb as bens successor or try and get one of these qbs that came out a year or two ago. After being released
I don't think Landry Jones is the answer

So what brought the bad luck all the other forty eleven times that we've lost our qb, center, rb, and linemen before Vick got here?

play to win of course. there's like 16 teams with 3 wins or less. Not going to get a high pick anyway.

I hope Ben is back soon but regardless we need to win. Can we have anyone (other than Vick) start for Landry because he sucks when starting and seems to do better in relief.

I always root for the Steelers to win.

I don't care what number the Steelers pick at. The way the drafts fall and all the variables involved, it doesn't make sense to get wrapped up in where they'll pick this early.

This is impossible because of Ben's contract. Jones could never be Ben's successor unless Ben is forced to retire. Why? Because you can't spend too much money on a backup QB and Jones will be gone to another team by the time Ben hangs them up. Best case scenario with Jones is he does well and we can trade him for a 2nd/3rd rounder to a QB starved team. I think Green Bay did something similar with Flynn?

With Ben out we are in a position to start Vick. Yes I said Vick. He is fine usually for at least a quarter. Then put in Jones for at least 2 quarters. After that put Brown in as QB and have a full back set with Johnson and Williams.
I only say this because Vick cannot read a defense especially once they determine what we are doing.
Jones can play a quarter or two but he does not have the ability to play for 60 mins period.
This next game is a must win divisional game and our Defense is likely going to have to win it for us.
You may think I am all wet but that is the way I see it right now.
Hopefully I am dead wrong and we work the Brownies like a rented mule and win with a vengeance.

I never accept losing, keep the pedal to the metal and play this
thing out. Surely the Steelers luck has got to change and we get
    some players healthy

This is a freakin joke, where was all the bad luck for the other teams that signed him.....NOWHERE!! I am a dog owner and I am fine with Vick, he paid his dues and has been nothing but a model citizen since being out of jail. End of story get over it or move on to another team. Karma is a joke let's get some linemen in so our QB stops getting hit..........Hmmm, that would work better then karma!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that's the thing isn't it? If our drafting is as bad as it sometimes seems, then what's the point of going for a higher pick? Lol.

Overall, though, I simply do not understand it when people want us to play for draft picks. I say it every time: the message that instils in a team about the importance of competitiveness and willingness to put it all on the line for a win is sooooo problematic, and could take much more than an off-season to fix.

Difficult to argue against this point when the record-breaking best player by far on the field yesterday was a 6th rounder...
