If Ben can't go next week we need to start Mike Vick

he has more playoff experience then Jones and Jones was absolutely horrible today

No. Hopefully Ben can play, but we're rolling with Landry if Ben can't go for some reason.

 

A gimpy Ben only throwing short dink and dunks is much more optimal than both Jones and Vick. Obviously a healthy Ben is best, but even a hurt Ben is better than our backups.

I think both Vick and Jones would get obliterated by Denver's D, as it is much better than the Bengals.

I will say though, outside of it being Vick, it would be pretty comical if we beat the Broncos with a crappy running QB in Vick as payback for Denver Tebowing us. But in reality, if Ben can't play, Jones will be the starter no question about it.

No. He's been inactive the last few weeks but he's on the 53.

And real is entitled to his opinion no mater how controversial or wrong headed it is. Landry Jones didn't give anybody any confidence the way he played last night so I can somewhat understand why someone might at least suggest that.

 

Playing Jones in Denver ends Pittsburgh's season! Pittsburgh needs to get to work on a number 2 backup. Jones and Vick are more useless than tits on a boar hog!

Ben will be fine and play next week. If he came in at the end last night he will get the necessary rest and treatment throughout the week to be good to go next week. And yes Jones will still be the backup and play if by some miracle Ben can't.

 

Agree. If Ben can't go, Vick will dress. Landry is awful.
