I was born, and raised a Catholic, and I've always considered it a option.....except when I was an altar boy..even though the rest of My Family didn't. LoL

You need roadies, and a equipment manager. They are easy to find....just not easy to trust. LoL

Got some family flying back here that morning. Plan was to go to the game. Temp does suck as it’s a big swing from Friday to Saturday but the talks of 20-30 winds ain’t helping might have to stay in doors

Plus the half hour it will take to feel your fingers well enough to put the keys in the ignition and be able to feel the steering wheel.

I hadn't even considered that. Brilliant!

Actually my wife is more than understanding when it comes to football. Her Dad was actually employed by the NFL so she grew up with football coming first. In fact, he had a small roll in the Immaculate Reception believe it or not. He was the guy the refs were calling on the sideline to make sure they had the rule correct.

I think you and I have very different ideas of what "Christmas spirit" is.

I have to go sit through the 3 hour Avatar tomorrow, but the Steelers game is technically on Christmas morning for me so, I guess I'm watching in between presents?

Do they do the RCIA in your church during the vigil? Besides the 15 or so readings, the Adult Initiations just go on forever. I've lectored for it in the past, and stood up for an adult being initiated, and danged, by the end of it I really needed a scotch.

Awkward Xmas Eve coming for me. We’re hosting my in laws, my dad and some other family for dinner. I’m trying to push it as early as I can, but I’m probably going to need to join the game in progress.

Yes, they do. I was confirmed as an adult in the mid-90's at Easter Vigil so I could sponsor my nephew for his First Holy Communion. We also had to get married in the church. It was an experience.

I'd especially consider it now if I were them. Even just go till after the halftime ceremony for those prices. I really hope the stadium is packed. Tickets are still absurdly cheap.

Given Franco's death today, I hope and pray the stadium is full in his memory.

It's better than the first, but it misses some things it probably should explain and fails to develop any of the Human angles past what they did in the first one.

Kind of slows down in the middle for a totally different kind of movie, but is still visually stunning. Some parts were obvious they filmed for 3D/4D experience, but we saw it on regular screen.

I'm going to go with better than average. If you liked the first one this one is better to me. I didn't really like the first one and this one works for me. I'd watch it again. Problem is I'm a sci-fi guy and I need a little more depth out of the source material.

I actually enjoyed the 1st one, but because everyone said it was so great.....I didn't watch it till it was out for 2 years. LoL.
The reason being .....most of the time if most people say something is great....I don't tend to like it for some reason...on that movie I was wrong.

Same here, I haven't watched the Hulu Foundation series since it would have to take screen writers who read and understand the books to be able to make it coherent for a TV series. I'll wait until the Mule character is introduced, and might watch it then.

Problem with Foundation is it's over thousands of years and for a series to work, you need recognizable characters to carry the story along. So they have to retcon some stuff in and do things like the clone dynasty with android helper and sending people into hibernation sleep vice fast travel. The books just move on to a different character and keep stepping it's lightyears harder than even Dune to adapt. I enjoy most of Foundation so far with those thoughts in mind. I have to applaud them for trying something like this.
