No, I don't know it. Neither do you. You have absolutely no idea what was going on. There is zero evidence that supports your claim that Colbert would fail to focus on his job during a draft. There really isn't evidence that the Cardinals were going to trade down just because the Steelers wanted to move up. You are making things up to fit a narrative you can't support.

Stick to the thing about Tyler Biadasz. You actually have something resembling a point there, though you kind of ruin it with the ridiculous hyperbole in the OP.

There is no reason to think they didn't try. Bush seemed like a more reasonable target and they clearly liked the guy. The knee injury was bad luck, not poor work by the front office.

Unless he was in the draft room, this dude has no idea if the Steelers could have moved up or down in '19. Just his opinion posted as fact.

    @SDOT does not.

If he had an idea and, could have a mulligan his way in the 2019 Draft, we would have gotten D.K. Metcalf at all costs..... LITERALLY.

Given the fact that a desperate need at ILB was needed, who was going to play that in 2019?! Vince Williams could have not done it alone and, even if he could, the results would have been 2018 all over again.

He'd find fault with Pittsburgh's '74 draft class, TBH.

Oh I agree. The FO certainly had nothing to do with Bush getting hurt.

Bush is a monster. Without him on the field the defense collapsed. Bush allows other players to utilize their skills (such as Vinny focusing on run). If you watch film you can see just how extremely talented Bush is. He was asked to do SO much on the field (and he did it). This is similar to another pure talent we had few years ago...

DJ? Show me a team that wouldn't want him on opening day.

Another post that shows your creative ignorance.

Personally I'm still pissed the Steelers didn't trade up and draft Randy Moss in 1998.

Trade up for a franchise QB. If you trade up for another position, he'd better be a Hall of Famer.

Can we go back and Draft Tom Brady in the 6th round?

Instead of taking Chris Combs at 173, we could have taken Tom Brady.

If you really want to be upset we took Tee Martin at 163 when Tom Brady was still on the Board!!!

That would be relevant if they had chosen Johnson ahead of Metcalf. They did not.

Johnson had a bad stretch of games. He worked to fix the problem. He has a great ability to get open, then makes plays after the catch. Yes, he could be a key contributor on any team in the NFL.

By the way, Tyreek Hill was third in the NFL in dropped passes. Metcalf was fifth. Kick those guys to the curb!

He's a damn good player who filled a desperate need. If people didn't learn how important he is to that defense from last season, I don't know what to tell them.

Extreme Capitalism like the USA? What a joke. Middle class and working poor are completely owned by the 1% billionaires....but carry on with your votes against your best interests.

He's been average so far, sorry. For every play, he overruns another. Not a finished product yet, but has to improve a lot to justify the pick.

    You're confusing cronyism with capitalism.
