Surprisingly we been 1-3 and 0-4 before but this time no Ben and we just went through the easy part of the schedule.

 

I am not the biggest Tomlin supporter but I can only imagine these forums during the lean late 90's seasons. It would have been fun to read.

They had no Ben in 2019, and they rebounded.

 

They went from 1-4 to 8-5 which is impressive especially with no Ben, however they only beat one winning team that season in the rams 9-7.

Bengals twice 2-14 record
Chargers 5-11
Dolphins 5-11
Colts 7-9
Browns 6-10
Cards 5-10-1

Defense definitely carried them that season for sure

You are correct. It is weird that he would make something like that up. I guess he realizes running and hiding is a bad look, so he is trying to justify it.

Either way, maybe we can get this thread back to talking about the Steelers. That would be a nice change of pace.

 

By rebound, you mean they saved Tomlin's non-losing record by finishing 8-8 and no postseason. My idea of rebound is a little different.

Considering they started the season 0-3, and got to 8-5 with two scrub first time starting QBs I would say they rebounded, what were you expecting them to get to the Super Bowl ?
