Tomlin botched the whole thing. It was such an easy decision to make and he made it 10x worse. Typical Tomlin move.

Should I predict the season on how my week goes? Hmmm...blew out a brand new tire on company van 2xweeks ago...we blowed against the stains. The van has a 700 dollar repair job on a 50 dollar part...then I saw it leaking the day I picked it up...but forget to stop for the curb..fell and broke a bone in my hand, bruised my ribs and had a big hole in my leg...we lost the the Jets. Today I locked myself out of another van...sensing either my luck follows Steelers..ior theirs mine lol

He is claiming that he knew this was all coming, but one of the biggest factors in the team's 1-3 start is something he did not predict, the loss of Watt. I'm sorry that my point escaped you so easily.

Please point out the part of my post in which I chastised you. You can't because I didn't. I simply pointed out what you are doing.

To be fair, I did make fun of the way you do it with the Wheaties comment. I did that because you go from zero to insanely hostile very quickly very often. I'm absolutely argumentative, but it usually takes a lot for me to be openly hostile.

Wrong. You stated that had Watt played in the past three games that the steelers would have won at least 1 or maybe 2 of the 3 games they lost, which is a logical fallacy. You stated cause not factor - big difference. Everything else you're blathering about is smokescreen to attempt to hide the fact that you're wrong. Own it and move on.

Meanwhile our coach gets paid millions to make terrible decisions. Anybody could’ve predicted what transpired. Mitch was getting booed in 1st home game.. Now we’ve seen 3 games of it and another half at home. Tomlin is so clueless. If I can do this from the couch. There has to be a better coach somewhere…

I own that I am right about him making a prediction that required a long-term absence by Watt to come true.

I see you are running from your false accusation that I chastised you for being argumentative. Please own your error and move on. :)

What Boycotting? All talk and no substance. More than likely he would be begging the Rooney's for HC position and then promise them that James Harrison will be his first hire.

Probably be within the same state as us in all honesty. Aaron Donald and TJ Watt are two sides of the same coin; impact game wreckers. Losing them greatly diminishes a Defensive Coordinator's ability to draw up plays for favorable personnel matchups. Heck, Rams might be even worse as Aaron Donald single handedly saved the LA Rams Playoff Hopes during their Super Bowl run.

Yes, they do have Jalen Ramsey and he has played better since his week one debacle against Stefon Diggs but his impact to limit offenses only stems from taking away an opponents best weapon. While that can work some of the time, more and more offenses have found workarounds against that; some teams having multiple weapons on the field that is simply too much for one Corner to combat. Granted, the same can be said for Minkah Fitzpatrick but Minkah does have one benefit that Jalen does not; freedom.

Minkah can roam around and manipulate the field to his own terms. Jalen can manipulate the field but said circumstances are all dependent on the opposing WR 1.

Off topic VF but I have had days just like that you cant make up. Then I see some friends whose house have been destroyed down in Florida and they still manage to stay positive through it all.

The problem is Steeler football is somehow so engraved in how I am wired all these years that a loss like yesturday still kills me in how they lost at home in that fashion so I def can relate!

This isn’t about Tomlins first losing season. That happens with or without Watt.

This is about Tomlin botching the handling of Mitch and Pickett. They could be 4-0 or 3-1 if Pickett started every game.

The winning factor in my prediction is Tomlin is going to make terrible decisions. He’s shown us this for a decade. Now Ben and Colbert are gone. Doesn’t matter about Watt or Pickett. Tomlin is going to screw it up that’s the given. Winning strategy is to zig, Tomlins going to zag. He’s terrible.

Whatever man. You got owned once again and you know it. You're just too insecure to admit it. So go ahead and reply with some more of your smokescreen since we all know you gotta get the last word in. I'm out.

I need no smokescreen. The OP claimed a false victory and you know it. If he had predicted the lack of depth would destroy the Steelers if they lost Watt, then he might have had a point. He didn't. You are just doing your angry thing and you have an issue with me. I could claim black is one of the colors in the Steelers' uniform and you would find a reason to argue with me.

Here's a hint for you. You can't own somebody when they are right and you are wrong. You can only falsely claim victory as you just did.

Now run along and let the adults continue their discussion.

I think it’s fair to say with TJ we probably are 2-2 most likely winning this Jets game. Still doesn’t hide the facts this is not a good team especially the coaching staff. DLine isn’t very good at all Middle Linebackers are not good Secondary after Minkah not very good. That doesn’t even touch a piss poor offense. With TJ we probably win 6 games this year if he doesn’t come back I’m assuming maybe 3/4. We have a legitimate argument to being the worst team in the NFL.
