I'm a young'un, but this movie is amazing. You have to go in with the proper expectations (there are no explosions and no sex, it's the kind of movie that could bore a child to tears), but if you enjoy a good, patient, suspenseful talkie, this is one of the best movies of all time. Rear Window is another classic I like a lot, but 12 Angry Men is probably my favorite.

Well then why don't you run it up the flag pole and see if anyone salutes? ;)

I'm with Juror #12, Bobby. Watch it!

Well I didn't know if TTF would want me to post that link but I will definitely pm it to anyone that wants it. I sent one to Thorn already and it's working for him. I'd say you have the same taste in movies as me and would probably really like it. Actually it's where I was watching 12 Angry Men again. We are on the last episode of Making A Murderer and I told my wife I was gonna let her watch 12 Angry Men because it sorta reminded me of it when I thought about the jury deliberations.

Well that's something. 4 is actually one of my favorites. When I was younger I thought of him as one of the "bad guys", but really he's quite admirable. I find your thinking more level-headed than most.

Yeah, you always struck me as the type to be good in a knife fight.

I didn't make 12 Angry Men? Either I've lost my touch, kept my posting in check, or improved my diplomacy. :roflmao:

I honestly go back and forth just like the juror that Snack named me after. LOL! However, I'd say given that the kid had that kind of knife I really do think it's pretty condemning evidence against him.

To be fair, Henry Fonda also had that kind of knife.

Maybe Fonda did it? And it was all an elaborate ruse?

12 Angry Men. Jury is ready to convict a kid of murder but one juror stands against the rest and votes not guilty. People will either find it fantastically boring or great.

Haha, glad you don't mind. The more I watch that movie, the more I understand and respect #3. He's probably also a good representation of a lot of real jurors out there.

By the way everyone, if you haven't seen this movie, there are SPOILERS in this thread, so stop reading and go watching!!

Well, here's a thought. Maybe it's nothing, but let's throw it on the stoop and see if the cat licks it up... #8 didn't get his in some obscure antique shop out of town, though. They were selling them in some store right on the street. The point is, haven't you been moved enough to have reasonable doubt? All of the evidence has question marks by it.

It's funny, I had trouble finding a spot for you at first, and trouble finding a name for #12, and then I put it together.

    Everyone,

If you like 12 Angry Men and like raunchy comedy (and can tolerate feminism), check out the episode of Inside Amy Schumer based on it. The jury spends the length of the episode debating whether or not Amy is hot enough to be on TV. (In their words, if she gives them "a reasonable chub.") As a fan of the classic movie I thought I might hate it, but it's surprisingly brilliant and pays homage to the original.

i think we need better commitment from snack. for all the money he's making, how can you read this board AND watch a movie? this could be the difference in us going to the super bowl or just making the playoffs. son, you are going to have to get a better work ethic if you plan on starting here.:stogie::smiley1::cool:

Hmmm now I'm wondering which other movie character would best represent me. There are few on here that I would associate with Forrest Gump though ;)
