Let me ask a different question. Was there any point in the game where Flacco looked even remotely confused or uncertain? I’m not going to go back and rewatch that sh!t show to check, but I really don’t remember many plays at all where it looked like Flacco was going to his second read. On the majority of pass plays he played pitch and catch like it was obvious where he was going before the snap.

Teams knew Ben was going to throw it to AB even in double coverage, but they still couldn't stop him.

They needed to try press man on Chase with a safety in bracket coverage, it was too easy for them with no pass rush.

This is true. If we get better pass rush, Chase doesn't have his career night. We probably don't lose on a last minute FG, and these doomsayers are quiet behind their keyboard for another week at least.

I think Chase was just trying to make himself look smart and boost his ego.

However, it's not like other non-divisional teams haven't said something similar over the last several years. We've heard it from other players on other teams, for the last 2 or 3 years from time to time.

queen, clark, harrison. shouldn't they know how the ravens get ready for the steelers and tomlin? or the number of other vets we have that prepared to play us over the years. chase, higgins and brown have been revitalized by a decent QB from where they were with browning. the ravens may as well when lemar gets back. the browns despite us having thornhill, will be a tougher game since they have outed flacco and found a run game. players can change the whole team's outlook at times. it may not even have anything to do with the coach. the spark they talk about. the old one mans trash is another mans treasure theory.

Todd Haley was a good OC....He was not perfect but he was also not Matt Canada,so the opposing defense don't always know what to expect when he was our OC

Our number on defense with and without Watt on the Field was night and day at that time

    Open your mind Quaid.......
Don't think they would "let them know" but teams know trends and 19-years provides a solid foundation for trends.

It doesn't matter if Watt plays or not the offense still has to score points.

The steelers were winning way more games with Watt despite our sorry offense...1-10 without him vs like 50-26 during this period with him

And they're winning games now when Watt isn't even mentioned during a game.

Because Rodgers has taken up the slack. Imagine the 2019 defense (last good D we had) with this offense... Steelers could actually win a playoff game.

When you think about it, contrary to what Tomlin says, every yr we do the same thing over and over and expect a different result so what does it matter

The more info you have about the opponent , the greater the chances for coaching success. I would let go of the coaches who put us at a disadvantage factoring in the talent levels of the teams in time. Say 2-4 years.

In the post game show they had Flacco and Chase join the panel and at one point Flacco says he broke the huddle and immediately said “oh my God” when he looked at the defense.

But it doesnt mean anything, nothing to see here, everything is fine.
