Tomlin complete overlooked this Jags team to focus on the Pats. Cowher may have had some pit falls but I don't remember one as bad as this.

In all honesty we are not "Physical" in the same way as Steelers from years past.

    Both sides of the ball.

We struggle at power running, we aren't able to stop the run.

Yeah, it's not like he lost an AFCCG game at home when he was favored. You know like to NE or to San Dirgo.

Cowher never lost games like this.

I'm not saying he didn't. Today was a debacle of epic proportions. Worse than the Tebow loss or the Chargers let down. This team today was totally out of sync from putting the porous defense on the field first to the horrible decision to onside kick that early.

I'd hire Cowher back tomorrow and tell him to clean house in the coaching staff. Danny Smith can stay but is still on watch.

Like the AFCCG against the chokers? when he told his players a week early to book their families trips to the SB?

With crummy QB's. With Ben it is a different story.

Cowher did more with Kordell ( imo) than Tomlin has with Ben...

Ben is done and Cowher floundered around for 13 years and didn’t win. It’s time to get a good young coach out of college to move on

Nearly any coach from college or HS would not have tried an on side kick is that situation.

Cowher's team never had this much talent on offense. Also their defenses never got manhandled like today.

I dunno if he'd have tried the onside kick or not.

I like Cowher - but he couldn't survive in today's NFL. It's a different beast.

I'm not a huge MT fan, but I seriously doubt he overlooked the Jags. Underestimated, maybe - but not looked past.
