I think there are going to be at least 3/4 trades tomorrow nite. Teams have a ton of picks they can use to go up and get the guy they want.

Like Ezekiel Elliot. If your the Browns, you trade down and pick up more picks and let someone come up and get Elliot.

Like Jalen Ramsey. If your the Chargers, you want Tunsil. You can go down pick up some draft picks and still get Tunsil or Staley to shore up that line.

Okay...who do you see pulling the trigger on a move up or a move down?

I agree that we'll see trade action in the 1st, but it's so difficult to peg which sensible trades actually get done. When I did my 1st round mock in another thread, I considered the Browns trading down to either Chicago or Miami so one of those teams could take Elliott. I considered the 49ers moving up to 5 for Stanley. I considered the Giants moving up to 6 for Stanley (ahead of the 49ers). I considered the Giants and Saints swapping picks (with Stanley off the board before the Giants pick) so that the Saints could prevent someone like Buffalo jumping above the for Lynch. The possibilities are endless, and in the end I gave up and just matched players to teams.

One thing that just popped into my head on Stanley- we could see the 49ers move up only 1 spot with the Ravens just to prevent the Giants from moving into that spot. The Browns did that a couple of years ago to get Gilbert.

To me, the teams with tons of picks are the most likely ones to do the moving because of the ammo they have. Depodesta has shown that he's trying to stock pile and rebuild the entire Brown's team and he has just the right chip IF the Cowboys don't take Elliot.

I don't see Chicago trying to come up. They need so much, they should be looking to go down if possible.

But the Bears signed 7 free agents from other teams, so they aren't as bad off as you think, notable signings Travathon from denver ILB, Ted Larsen guard from AZ, Bobby Massie RT from AZ, Jarrel Freeman ILB from pats, Akeim Hicks DE from colts, Omar Bolden FS from the pats, Manuel Ramirez guard from lions so they filled a lot of their needs in free agency, not as bad off as you think.....

Your right Diamond. I did not know about the other signings other then Travathan. I don't keep up with the Bears on the regular. They too could be looking for their QB of the future. And a big, strong armed guy like Lynch could be on their radar as well.

No QB this year Not with Cutlers deal 126 million for 7 years good through 2021, that would be a long wait for a QB drafted this year, you think??? Unless they want a later round backup type.........
