I think Ben has another season in him

But I think that should be with another team.

Ben with a half-decent OL and an average run game could take a team to the playoffs. Currently he's got a bottom 3 OL that gets him killed for 3/4 of the game, a bottom 3 run game despite having Najee and a bottom tier defense.

If Ben could find a Tampa Bay-like situation I think he could contend for a 3rd ring.

As a Steelers fan I would rather see him succeed elsewhere than get killed in his last season as a Steeler.

 

Ben got killed yesterday. He deserves better.

 

ben is playing well. he had that last TD last night as well. he put that thing right where it had to be to muth. he put the one prior into johnsons hands as well. this isn't on ben. i'd have ben for another season if he wants too.

 

Ben can still make remarkable throws but his lack of mobility hurts the offense in so many ways. When Ben was young he was really good at play action, him not being under center reduces what the options are on offense.
I enjoyed his career and wish him well but its time to move on.
Next year if Tuitt doesn't return we need a DE and a true nose tackle, possibly two new ILB'S another corner and a safety , that's six then on offense we might lose JU JU and we could use at least two offensive linemen.
This team has way too many needs in so many areas , why bring Ben back this team is a few years away from being a real contender.

 

Ben will be back next season as our QB coach.

 

There's no reason for him to return next season.

No, I think Ben wants to retire this morning after the beat down his body took last night.

 

You can hide his immobility if the offensive line can block.

If they think they can fix it this offseason, maybe we can roll one more year with Ben?

I think Ben is over it though, he doesn't want to come back.
