I still don’t understand why Terry Bradshaw’s #12 is not retired

I don’t believe the Steelers ever officially retire jersey numbers.

If #12 is officially retired, how about Lambert s number? Or Hams? How about Webster's or Dawson's? Blounts, Woodson's Shell's, Troy's? A case could be made for The Bus, Ward, Swann, Stallworth, Lipps, and countless others.

League rules don't allow for 3 digit jersey numbers so we'd pretty much run out of numbers if we retired every Steeler great's number.

I think they have done justice to TB and others by putting their names in the Hall of Honor. The 2 whose numbers are retired from the 4 SB era are enough, it represents both sides and does it well.

When you are the QB and you win 4 SB,2 super bowl MVP and you also have a regular season MVP,you have no choice to retire his number. It won't set a horrible precedent if Bradshaw's number is retired

It may not be officially retired, but we all know that no one else will wear it

No Steeler has ever worn #12 since. I wouldn’t be against officially retiring his number.

The seventy teams would have taken away a lot of numbers.

Like Mean Joe said the Steelers didn't start winning until they got Franco.

    It was a joke.

That being said, he could probably step onto the field right now and be the best QB on the roster.
