I SHOULDA BEEN A FOOTBALL STADIUM DESIGNER

I shoulda been a football stadium designer because I have a brilliant idea for a stadium.

If I was gonna build a stadium, I would shape it like a pyramid. Just think how cheap it would be to put the roof on, the dome cost would be almost nothing.

Every cold weather stadium could be a domed stadium. It would increase seating capacity because pyramids have a lot of sides.

I wonder why all these so-called smart architects didn't think of this?

 

I don't know, but the very first time I saw Van Halen live, it was at the Pyramid in Memphis, Tennessee. That was a great show!

 

Good question. The one in Memphis where I saw Van Halen only seats about 21,000 at max capacity, and it's pretty big.

 

How long will this go on?

I could say the same thing about stadiums. You got your 500 million dollar stadiums, and you got your 1.5 billion dollar stadiums.
How cool would a black and gold glass pyramid look?!
Steelers should be ready for a new stadium by 2050 or so, keep this thread alive, and maybe they will build the Guru Pyramid - THAT GOT MYSTIQUE ALREADY!

 

I'm hoping until the Steelers build a new yard around 2050.

 

Don't quit your day job. What exactly makes this cheap? And how exactly does a 4 sided Pyramid have more sides than a 4 sided stadium?
