I Present To You! Joey Jr.!!!

Man I know they grow up quick. One of my friends just had his first and I went to see them at the hospital and as I held it I thought "Man Ben was this little and it just seems like yesterday" but he is about to be 2 in December. Actually when he was born we went to the hospital for the C-section and I was wearing a Roethlisberger shirt and had a terrible towel and a Steelers snuggie. One of the nurses came in and saw my Steelers stuff and she was a HUGE Steelers fan and we were talking about the Steelers and my wife was like "uh...I'm here too!" lol. That nurse was bragging on her new Franco jersey she had just bought. Even down here in the backwoods there are still fans all over the place and we love our Steelers! Do you think it might be destiny for him to love the team since even a nurse on duty that day was a true fan?

 

Hey, my team is the Braves, what's wrong with them? Yeee. Actually, my son likes the Braves too (dang he loves me too much ). I almost don't want him to, as Chipper is now retring and he's the last of the mohegans...

Living here in East TN there were SOOO many Braves fans and they all liked the Braves because they thought they were "cute" and stuff. I've always liked Mark Grace and Ryan Sandberg. I THINK that MIGHT be the root of my Braves hatred. I'm really not sure. LOL. It's just something that's always stuck. The only ones I've ever brought myself to like was Fred McGriff. But he was a Cub though. I have MANY friends that REALLY like the Braves. I don't even really keep up with baseball that much but I always keep an eye on the Cubs and the other eye on hoping the Braves do bad. LOL.

Hey everyone, I wanted to update you all. It's been 2 years since I made this post with my little boy, and as you can see, he's growing up rooting for the right team Love my little man. We watch every game together that we actually get on TV since we can't really afford the NFL Ticket.

My son is 7 and is completely brain-washed Steelers. So much so that every time he catches the ball he pretends he is Antonio Brown. He does play WR in our city based tackle league. He is also comparing everyone in size to Big Ben. I get asked at least 4 times a week is so and so bigger than Ben? Finally he is obsessed with the Steelers on Madden for the PS4 so much so that he plays every game including preseason and so far has yet to be beaten in his franchise mode... Usually score is somewhere around 40+ to 10 or less.

My oldest daughter(senior in high school) is a Steeler fan to a lesser degree - doesn't follow sports at all.

My middle child(freshman in high school) - daughter - does not miss a minute of any Steeler game and wants to go back to Pittsburgh for her vacation.

We have been as a family once. Had an awesome experience!
